Yes. I have the metalcloak 3.5" gamechanger rocksport lift pre-ordered. Just waiting for them to actually ship it. I plan on buying the American Adventure labs Highline fenders in the mean time, since Metalcloak keeps pushing back the date.
Not today, but over the past week. (Picked it up last Monday).
Installed Hot Head Headliners, bartact seat covers, 37" Cooper Discover STT Pro on black rock D-windows, built right bed panels, Rock Slide Engineering step sliders, Rugged Ridge light guards, CB antenna mount, and some decals.
Thank you! It's not that cold here. It was 80*F yesterday... So not yet. They forgot to put the adhesive tape stuff on one of the panels, but likely I had some similar stuff in the garage. And as of today they both tapes seem to be holding.
On 37"s? I'm leaning towards 4.88.
Just got my 37"s yesterday and have driven street and 70 mpg highway for about 60 miles. I can say that on the low end the 3.6 does not struggle at all0.Still peppy around town. But on the highway it will shift to 6th for the slightest hill and is only in 8th...
Meh I like stickers. Already have too many.
Anywy just got my coopers installed. I'm planning on AmericanAdventureLabs high line fenders to help them clear on the trail until my Metalcloak lift comes in. Also added the hothead headliners.
I can confirm 37x12.5R17 Goodyear wrangler MTR Kevlar DOES NOT fit. Aired down to 0 psi with or without the heat shield. Firmly hits the hitch and trackbar.
It's nice to have a spotter, definitely improves comfort level, (especially down the Steps) and 1 notorious switchback. But go slow and don't have an irrational fear of heights and you'll be fine.
Had a debate on facebook about it awhile ago. Both sides have merits, but The stay with the driver won out. It would be like running a marathon or tuff mudder, but never wearing a commemorative t-shirt unless you are wearing the same shoes you competed in. Either way, those are all easy...
I wish...
I usually hit them once a year. When they sent the new style I figured I'd put them on my JT as they are the BOH I have driven (albeit with different jeeps). We had a debate on FB, do the badges go with the Jeep or the driver?
Heck I drive those trails once a year. If my KK and WK2...
Finally got it! Orderee 09/21. After sitting in a railyard in toledo for 1 month.
First time seeing the color in person and I can say it was worth the wait!
