Yes, but it had been pulled off the Grand Cherokee since early 2017. I'm hoping that since they added it back onto the Jeep page they're making more progress and getting closer to roll out.
it's hard to tell how much is real damage vs the folds in the covering. I really hope it comes with factory rear bed sliders just like the normal rocker panel sliders.
I agree that overhand looks a lot longer than other midsized trucks. Which is concerning.
The cabin room looks bigger than other midsized trucks though (which will be a big factor for the wife).
The other slightly concering thing I noticed, is that those rear wheel wells look smaller than I...
Just checked the Jeep build and price page. They have re-added the ecodiesel to the '18 Grand Cherokee build option list. I have checked periodically for a while since 2017 when they removed it due to teh whole "emissions" thing. This could be a good sign for the JT.
In think some rear armor should come quick to the market. What's interesting is it still has the lower nonrubicon flares. I hope that they end up including the raised flares on the "off road" edition JT.
OMG THat looks sexy. Crying tears of joy!. PLEASE JEEP MAKE THE ECODIESAL AVAILABLE AT LAUNCH!!!
Looking at the pictures this one seems to have the non-Rubi fenders, but the rocker panel looks a little higher than the standard JL (could just be the angle). ANyone think that the JT might come...
I really wish they'd make a select track like x-fer case with the Rock track 4:1 gearing. Or at least offer selec trac with Rubicon models. I want factory front and rear lockers plus the ability to kick into AWD or 4 low situation depending
I've had a regen on the trail in my wk2. I was on Black Bear pass and another time on some other trail. It completed it while crawling through the trails.
I've also completed a regen in the city with no highway driving. It takes a little longer but it can be done. You can speed it up my by...
One of the reasons I love the JT over a full sized truck (like a raptor or power wagon) or a smaller SUV with a trailer (JL) is the manueverabilty. I'm looking for an overland rig that I can occasionally crawl with. The JT should allow me to easily hold all my gear. But a lot of the trails...
I doubt it. I see the future for mid sized vehicles moving away from production V8s. Lower fuel economy, plus naturally aspirated v8 and turbo v6 by are getting pretty close. Plus there's a diesel option.
Midsized pickups are light, have a smaller tow/payload rating. They just don't need...
>700 miles per tank (all highway of course) on my '15 wk2 overland ecodiesel makes for a good overland vehicle. If the JT gets that then it's a no brainer for me.
I love my ecodiesel on my wk2 (other then threat regen and def junk). Now it doesn't get 28-29 mpg anymore after all threat junk...
Probably not, as Manley was ceo of jeep/ram. I doubt his replacement would institute broad changes so soon, given Manley is now the big boss and probably would rather Jeep be run the way he had it set up. Also there's no gaurantee that Manley won't be back, as he's only a temporary replacement.
I really like it. Why I'm planning on 37"s with a 3.5 lift. I'm trying to keep it daily driver overland friendly, but also improve that atrocious breakover and departure angle.
My general rule is armor fist then everything else. (But I'll probably get the GDE tune as the first thing) Then I'll start armoring it up depending on what it comes with factory. Definitely something to reinforce that rear bed overhang, Diff Covers etc. Then a tonneau cover or something...
