Top of the rear seats, by the headrests, I’m lead to understand there are lock cylinders to secure the seats in the up position, to protect what’s stored behind the seats.

How much of a pain is it to access and use the blade key? Isn’t that what’s used to lock the rear seats?

Former house painter question: did you use a primer or thinned-out first coat, something to really soak into the wood first? Brainstorming, I wonder if repurposing un-warped pallet wood might work well here?
