How does it read deceleration? Trailer brake controller's absolutely used to be directional. They had a pendulum inside.

Could the error messages be related to the way that this controller is mounted on that plate. That module could be directional. The people that have turned the bracket to match instructions do not appear to have error messages while the people Including dealership personnel who have installed it...
