  1. Buying a gladiator in two weeks, still cant decide on the trim package ... Thoughts?

I went with the Willys sport. It has rubi supension, rubi rock guards, painted fenders and limited slip rear. I orderd mine with manual transmission, manual rollup windows, soft top, bedliner and electic accessory panel, I saved at least 20,000 dollars on anything on the lot...love it!
  2. Your thoughts on the 6 speed manual in the Gladiator?

That is a "Rock Hard"winch plate .It attaches directly to the factory bumer and is bolted to the frame.
  3. Your thoughts on the 6 speed manual in the Gladiator?

Don't get me started on the bravery and pain that past men and women put up with riding on buck boards and wooden seats to settle this country..let alone the brave soldiers who sat on barely padded metal frame seats in military Jeeps...Modern trucks seem to be becoming luxury vehicles with a...
  4. Your thoughts on the 6 speed manual in the Gladiator?

Can some one tell me what the hell has happened to the American male?..Do you really need electric windows, heated seats, massage mode ...? A Jeep should have a manual transmission..Nuff said! TAKE YOUR ATM to the mall lot
  5. What tall skinny tires are out there?

IN NH you have to keep the tire within the fenderwell..also in heavy snow wide tires tend to float instead of diggiing in ...AND I hate tires that stick out too far!..Kenda Klever RT 35/10.5/ 17 fit thd bill with stock Willys wheels petfectly!
  6. LSD Equipped Gladiators Better Than Rubicon in Snow ?

Living in lakes region NH and having experience with both snow and ice I would say a limited slip is the way to go in those conditions.Locking diffentials are too extemes at speed and grab at cornering ,open diffs leave you tractionless and wheels spinning. I have heard of locking differentials...

  8. Gladiator bumpers and winch options?

Yes, as stated ealier in the previos threads the winch is attached to the frame and not the bumper..so yes you can attach the winch size you want.
  9. Gladiator bumpers and winch options?

If you want to keep the "wimpy" front bumper on your Gladiator ,as I did, Rock Hard makes a winch plate that sits on top and attaches directly to the frame!

  12. 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys ,Lakes Region NH. 2.5 inch lift 35 inch Kenda Klevers

Great, thinner is better as wide tires float on snow,no issues with snow or ice with the Kendas.
  13. 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys ,Lakes Region NH. 2.5 inch lift 35 inch Kenda Klevers

It's a big discussion here in NH about wide vs thin tires in snow. The consensus is thin is better to get traction as wide tired float on top and slip. During this winter I have had no traction issues with the Kendas on either snow or ice!
  14. 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys ,Lakes Region NH. 2.5 inch lift 35 inch Kenda Klevers

I used the Rockhard winch plate that sits dirrctly on the factory bumper.I wanted to save the original Willys factory bumber as well as wieght. Also in NH salt corrosion is a big issue with steel bumpers. I still needed the rough country 2.5 lift to correct the rake.
  15. 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys ,Lakes Region NH. 2.5 inch lift 35 inch Kenda Klevers

I had a severe rake before I used the 2.5 rough country lift ,especially with the winch installed. After the lift the vehicle was completely cured of the rake and fit the 35 10.5 17 tires .
  16. 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys ,Lakes Region NH. 2.5 inch lift 35 inch Kenda Klevers

35 10.5 17....wanted them to fit in the wheel well...fit great!
