I see the panel of clear paint protectant on my rear fenders, and have seen a vid or 2 where ppl use this stuff to provide some protection for their door entry, or the front of their hood. I’ve used it in a few other places, like the door-shock thingy and the C-pillar, anywhere else?
I just had z60/z37 done by a local shop, and they also included RRT 22-233. All 3 items are related to the PCM or its software ( in one form or another ). So, the question is, what should I be expecting, as a customer/owner from the RRT 22-233 work?
I think I can tell a few differences, but...
Wanted to start a good-news thread here, by saying that I’ve had my Mojave on some mild/moderate forestry trails … and I have to say that I am beyond impressed. This thing is fantastic. Nothing that I’ve done is as wild and crazy as some of the U-tuberz, but every time that I’ve been somewhere...
I’ve read some posts about the Mojave swaybar being hollow, and thus being a little more flexible than a connected-Rubi. And then there are also posts/vids about the Antirock swaybar allowing almost the same articulation as being disconnected. So, if you have a Mojave, would there be much of...
The SL tires are 10+ lbs lighter than the OE LT tires. I’ve been super impressed with the Wildpeaks, and have used them to do some exploring within several hours’ drive. I’m not sure that I really need an LT tire for what I do, and I’m thinking that the SL tire might give me some benefits (...
I would rather have onboard air instead of ESS. I enjoy diy projects, and have a MaxiTrac dual head compressor and spare air tank. Has anyone taken out their Aux battery and replaced it with some other function/feature (pics/examples please). I would love to shove onboard air in that spot...
I have a cordless impact, and could easily zip off the bolt at the bottom of the swaybar link on the driver side. The passenger side looks … a little more manual.
So is there a reason why we see folks/companies doing things to disconnect both sides at the trail head? If you do at least one...
I've really enjoyed my Mopar Tube Doors on the JTM, but have struggled with a good solution for the rubber bumper that came with one of the rear doors. It was already off the door while in the packaging, and looked like someone had let a 3yr old try to super glue it back together. I really...
When I bought my JTM, the salesman was saying that I could lower all the way to 7psi on the factory 33" WildPeak A/T tires ( non beadlock ) without the risk of unseating the tire. I've gone down to 20psi for some casual forestry trail riding ( nothing too serious ), but the backend felt a...
Has anyone tried adding something like the SDI Remote Reservoir Kit to the Mojave's 2.5" IBS by replacing the remote reservoir? If so, I'm curious if you were able to get a softer highway ride, while keeping your trail/desert tune.
My first post, so please forgive me if this is in the wrong area. I'm really excited about having lockers in the rear of my Mojave, and want to try using them when-ever/where-ever it makes sense, but I don't want to tear things up. This last winter, I engaged them for a few seconds on the...
