Most jeepers use that spot for the designed purpose (winch fairlead). However, you could add some lights. There is a light mount that utilizes the fairlead bolt holes.

If you maintain the stop position you won't burn hardly any fuel. It's just when it goes into the start setting your mileage will decrease. Seriously I notice no difference in my mileage with the Start/Stop active or off. Most of my driving is around town and I get 15 mpg.
Finished with Halo wiring mod. About a year ago I installed the Oracle Oculus Headlights with Halos. They have worked perfect since install and I am very happy with clean, bright beam provided by the Oculus lights. However, I was not happy with the fuse tap necessary for power to the halo. I...
I have read a little about the Tazer and the Dark Mode. This may be the only option but I was hoping to find some factory method of turning off the Halo's. Thanks
I have been looking for information re. how to turn off halos when I stumbled across this thread. Not sure if I got what I was looking for but the range of discussion was impressive.
JP I finished up with the Oracle Halo connection to the factory headlight plug and halo wire to Oculus Halos. I checked voltage and it is 12 volts at factory halo wire. Changed the Jeep halo light setting to halo's installed and now the Oculus halos are working via factory halo wire. I hope...
I will need to check mine. Haven't seen that problem discussed. Weird? Yes Also, light pink Gladiator. Must be new color for this year.:like:
3/3/22 Checked mine today. Both right/left fender running lights come on with remote start.
I am working on this. Currently I have the Oracle lights with the fuse tape for the Halos. My Jeep has the fourth wire and I have ordered a couple connections to try the fourth wire as opposed to the fuse tape. If this works it also requires adding Halos in the settings. This can be done...
I use the Bak Revolver. It is a hard cover that rolls. It is mostly out of the load carrying area when rolled open. It installed easy and has functioned well. IMO the cover is not made for commercial purposes. I have looked at bed racks and the mounting of same. It looks like the Revolver...
I had looked at these also. Although they look like they will function as a step better than most rockers with steps my thought is they hang to low and will get caught on terrine.
I saw a company that did just that. Required welding. Later I will see if I can find the web address and get that to you if I can find it again.
This is link to the step fab kit I saw: https://redsummitmachineworks.com/products/rock-sliders-side-steps-for-jeep-gladiator-jt-and-jeep-jl
Looks like the big hole in front of the mount bolt are designed to help with assembly. Also, crazy Engineers figure/design what's needed for structural integrity. Bumpers can take loads from a few different directions. Looks like your frame in proximity to the bumper mount has suffered from...
In my opinion yes. I currently have. 33’s with 3.73 gears. The area I drive has hills, mountains and some flat stretches of roadway. With various grades the transmission is continuously shifting from 6th, 7th and 8th. With minor grades it drops from 8th to 7th. If I were to go to 35’s I’m...
