I have the same truck, 8k miles. Planning on changing wheels soon, but no other suspension/gearing mods. Never had this issue. I thought mine was sluggish when I first got it, but I bought a throttle controller and that solved that issue for me. Hope they figure it out for you.
The Quadratec QRC front bumper. I know because it’s the one I want. It comes in full width or stubby. He has the full width, which I also what I want. Here’s the link:

I once came across a thread on here that had a link that took you to a site that you entered your vin number and it spit out every part on your JT. I wonder for you two, with the upgraded Alpine system, if it would give you the amp information or at least the part number so you could...
In Florida, garages become like basements up North. I can fit my JT in if needed, but I also have this on the way
I’ve never had a problem with the pins and I’ve taken my doors off many times. I know there are a lot of complaints around this issue and a lot of discussion on this forum about...
That’s what I currently do, but I will say I have it down to a science with removing them. Maybe takes 5 minutes to get the two front doors off. Also this is arriving Friday:
To your other point, this is our second Jeep and a soft top was a must this time.
I made this mistake the first time I took it on a trail. In fact, didn’t even have the doors off, just windows down and top off. It was only dust, but now when I’m on the trails, doors on/top closed/windows up.
Just took them off (hopefully until next year’s rainy season). With the summer rain and humidity, it can get to be too much for regular commuting. So happy fall is here with cooler temps and lower humidity. That being, said when they’re off, they’re off no matter where we’re going. However...
I’m looking at adding the Fuel Unit D785s to my Willys.
They are 17x9 with either a 1mm or -12mm offset. That means it’ll poke out 2.5-3”. I’m wondering if any off you have added wheels with this offset and if you could share any pics of how the wheels look with that much poke.
So I’m comparing the available offsets for these wheels now. They come in +1mm or -12mm. The factory wheels are +44.45mm offset. I’d also be going from a wheel width of 7.5” to 9”. Backspacing on factory wheel is 6”. If I go with the -12mm offset the backspacing is only 4.53” or 5.04” if I...
