I looked at this one too. The reason I like the Rain Gear cover is that it fits with my soft top on.

There is a whole thread on proximity locks on here. The link to the kits are provided there along with detailed instructions. Since you have a JTR, I would imagine your door wiring harnesses have the correct pins, but the thread provides instructions on how to check.

It’s part of the frame and has lights behind it. You can change the color, but that’s it. I’m thinking of buying this unit too.
