Recently, the Gladiator starting chiming a single, "Ding," upon startup. I'll get in, fasten the belt, hit the START button,, and, "Ding!" No other alerts or alarms. It didn't used to do this.
I had it in to the dealer today, and they're telling me it's supposed to do that: like an audible notification that the system is functioning normally. When I asked why it didn't used to do it, the service writer suggested that it had initially been malfunctioning, and now it's working correctly.
Anyone else think the, "Ding," is normal?
