It's not part of a package. It's a separate option only available for Overland or Rubicon trims. It's called "Remote Proximity Keyless Entry" in the build and price tool.
I haven't seen a video of a review/evaluation for a base Sport yet. I don't think there are any on the ground yet. I've been watching the Jeep inventory search for most of MN and eastern ND and I haven't seen any base Sports yet here. At least there are a handful of manuals now. I'm working...
Thanks a lot for the impressions towing something with a manual! I've been looking for real-world stories about this as I wait for Hydro Blue to finally become available. I've driven nothing but manuals in my daily driver for many years until recently (switched to an electric car last year) so...
You could list it on a site like SwapALease. At least assuming your lessor let's you (many leases won't allow a transfer when there are only a few payments left).
When you say "wide track" here what are you referring to? The only option I can think of that might refer to is the max tow option which I thought was available for both the Sport and Sport S. Just trying to see if I'm missing something here ...
Now that some of you are getting your manual Gladiators, has anyone tried towing something like a camper trailer? I'd be curious what your real world impressions are if you have. I don't tow often but when I do I'll be flirting with that 4000 lb limit with the manual (though admittedly on...
Just for context, I have never owned a Jeep before. I've always had an interest in non-mainstream cars so I've kept an eye on the Wrangler now and than in the past, but I'm not as familiar with them as a lot of you. I haven't been able to justify a Wrangler up to now, but I have truck needs so...
According to the online configurator the Max Tow option is available for any Sport or Sport S. There's no need to max out a build to get it. I've "built" a lot of Sport and Sport S JTs the past few weeks as I wait for Hydro Blue and the factory brake controller to become available.
Oddly enough my favorite color there is Hydro Blue, so lucky me! Though I would be tempted by Mojito if it was an option. The best color I've seen on a Jeep is that Brilliant Blue Metallic concept JT at the Easter Jeep Safari this summer ...
What I used to do back when I had a convertible sports car as my daily driver is go over it with a lint brush now and then. I'm not sure how practical that would be on a much larger and taller Gladiator soft top, but it worked well for a little two seat roadster. Note, however, that I had no...
I don't think the storage bag for the soft top rear window is included with every Gladiator. If you "build" one through the online configurator it's listed as a $75 option. It's not even listed as an option for the base Sport (which can only be had with the base soft top for some reason).
Has anyone confirmed if the Mopar brake controller will be able to be retrofitted to any JT or will it have to be ordered on the truck from the factory?
Mojito is a great color, that's for sure, and I'd like to see it offered on the JT. I'd still choose Hydro Blue over it, though, or better yet that Metallic Brilliant Blue concept they showed off at the Easter safari. Something like a plum crazy purple would be pretty awesome too. I like...
My hope is the PHEV version will make better use of the in-bed power outlet. There's no reason Jeep couldn't have a powerful inverter drawing power off of the much larger traction battery. Maybe even allow your engine to act as a generator even when stationary when the battery gets low...
I will second the dash color option. One of the many things I love about the J6 concept is the body color matched dash in that gorgeous metallic blue. I would also like to see a glass rear window option for the soft top. Oh, and the ability to check the proximity locks and LED light package...
Yes I would :)
I'm also a little confused by this idea that since a 2 door wouldn't be much cheaper than a 4 door why not "upgrade" to it. I don't consider a 4 door an upgrade mainly because it results in a shorter bed. I would pay the same or potentially a bit more for a 2 door (with longer...
Just chiming in to say I am part of the minority here that would be all over a 2 door Gladiator. Assuming, of course, it did not take a big hit in the payload or towing capacities. I don't need rear seats and would get more use out of a longer bed. Though this isn't the primary one, it is one...
This past week was a great opportunity for testing, that's for sure. I live about 90 miles northwest of Bemidji and my car said the outside temperature was -41 degrees during my commute on Wednesday morning. With windchill it got down to around -75 degrees. From what I understand, we were...
Has anyone heard any details about the plug-in hybrid drivetrain FCA is working on for the Wrangler (and presumably the Gladiator)? I've been a manual transmission fan most of my life, but a PHEV option could have a lot of advantages if done right.
TFL did a video a couple of months ago where...
