So I've run this through all seasons now, and it still ends up feeling like one of the better routes nearby to Denver. In winter it will offer some challenges, especially depending on recent snowfall, and at all times of the year it offers some amazing views.
I went to the OnX "Masterclass"...
Media passes should absolutely be the norm for any event. There are content creators that do seem down to earth and respectful. But there are far more who are trying to beat the grind and do The Next Best Thing.
Couple that with the original post, where something becomes so popular (Burning...
Looks like the quote forming was misshapen. Also, I'm trying to keep this specific to Gladiators for others here who want to take theirs on the Rubicon Trail at some point.
It's really hard to search through experiences for the Rubicon trail when the most popular trim name is... well, Rubicon. So I figured I'd ask what you completed the Rubicon trail in!
You can link to your build if it was what you used on the Rubicon, or just detail some critical build items...
I want to ensure I am doing an install properly without stripping the threading if I need to tap through the bed liner. So here is my order of operations:
Try to push through the bed lining with a drill and the 10mm screw itself
If that doesn't work, use a 6mm tap on the hole to prep it for...
Gonna take some buddies out there. Not new to wheeling, but will be hitting up Slaughterhouse Gulch in the coming weeks with a few peeps. From what I've been able to see, the mudpit at the bottom just keeps getting worse and worse.

So poking around the forums, people seem to be fitting as far up as 37" in the under-bed location fairly successfully. As mentioned, I have 35"/12.5/17 Baja Boss tires. I was thinking of avoiding the under-bed spare location for two reasons:
In the event of something more catastrophic like a...
This was filmed before off road recovery games. There's a lack of body damage on their vehicle that happened at the games.
I think, rather wisely, they created a few extras to throw out there while the recovery games were going on.
This canopy camper is something that I am also looking at. The first iteration is probably going to be screens, a Dickerson propane heater and the rear camera relocation kit.
For anyone who has worked on these before: how easy is it to add power/gear boxes/solar after the fact? Will I have to...
I am waiting for the short arms to come in from 67 Designs, but I picked up an E-Dock from Vector and it feels very solid. I hope to have everything by this coming weekend; I'll give an update once I've tested some stuff out.
I've seen a lot of options tried out by various people, but when...
