Today, its happened a few times over the past 2 years, the jeep hesitated to start.
Push start button and then...
The engine turned on then almost stalled, rpm way up, back down, almost starts, then almost stalls all the the rpm is going crazy. Sounds ROUGH as it struggles.
Starts itself...
Well, we might move to a bigger truck.
If anyone knows someone who may want a good deal on an Ovrlnd camper for their gladiator let me know.
We’re not totally sure of the plan at this point lol. So who knows. Perhaps a chubby on something bigger.
Mine does the same. Especially while it’s idling down from start up. Seems to have gotten louder and lasts longer. Then seems sort of rough idle until temps reach 150 or so but the roughness isn’t consistent. Don’t remember my 18 JL doing this.
Trip up wentworth springs into the rubicon. Wheeled up to the last part of the post pile obstacle and turned around. Didn’t realize there is actually a bypass on the left. Gladiator on 35’s pretty long for the main line. Had never been in through the springs before.
Camped a little way back...
What rear springs are you guys running? Loaded down for a big trip I’m pretty close to my bump stops. Solo trips with less stuff /Unloaded I’m good to go for the most part.
For those who use insulation foam board. If you have foil, which side does the foil face? Out or in? I assume in would help keep warm in winter but foil facing out would be better for heat coming in.
Any of you ever drive with the barn door halves open or just one open? I know what ovrlnd tells us but just looking for any real world experience.
Going to cut a Christmas tree this weekend and was thinking about leaving one open and lock out or maybe both open but strapped together from the...
I recently picked up an Ovrlnd camper. On the trip to flagstaff, from Sacramento, I averaged a pretty terrible 15.9. 35’s and 5.13’s without the camper.
On the return I averaged 17.2 (entire trip) with the camper and 17.4 from Bakersfield to sac. Always about 65mph.
My theory is the jeeps...
Basically what I did. But I don’t have the rail on the back. I have the builtright rails which are the sides only. Just used the Velcro along the backside of the bed. The holes on the built right are wider horizontally so easy to line up.
Did you cut off the top part of the Velcro? Trying to figure out how to install this damn rug now lol. Did you just snug it up under the lip of the rail?
