Well, There Ya Go! Dumb question answered and instant gratification achieved!
I stumbled around in the menu and fount that "Current Gear" was turned off. Backed up the driveway and put it in Drive, showed a D with a subscript 1.
I was in a meeting one day and someone asked a question... The speaker said, "There are no dumb questions, but that is as close as Ive ever heard".
So here's mine: Ive read a LOT of posts on this forum about whether member's Gladiators are able to run in 8th gear, or if they run in 7th, 6th...
Very interesting. I haven’t seen this before, but its been a few years since Ive owned and fooled around with Jeeps. I lifted a couple of TJs that would have benefitted from something like this if I had known about it.
Twitchy is a good description.
I just drove from Alexandria La to New Iberia and its a rough road in places. At times, it was like herding cats. I know its a Jeep and they arent supposed to drive like a car, but if I can improve it to be like my wife’s Sport, it would definitely be a more...
Lots of great info here. I appreciate your input! I was looking around for torque specs last night and am glad to see they’ve already been aggregated on the forum.
I ordered a pair of the Mopar LCAs this evening. They were less than $100 with shipping. $100 is definitely not something I want to throw away, but seems like its worth holding them side by side with the ones on the Mojave and the Sport.
i did check out the steering wheel play as the video...
Thanks, I was thinking of going with the Mopar ones mainly to keep everything OEM and since I do not plan to lift the Mojave. For less than $100, seems like a good experiment.
Great point! I just got back from town and checked them 43.0 on 3 of them and 43.5 on the front passenger. Id guess they would be close to the 37psi it shows on the door frame when cold. I wonder if the Falken 285 70 17 tires need 37 psi with the wider contact?
Let us know how your pressure...
To start with, we recently bought a 2023 Sport Max Tow for my wife and I started driving her 2019 4Runner. Yesterday we went to the dealership in the 4Runner to pick up her license plate and ended up leaving in a 2023 Mojave. They made us a trade deal I couldn't turn down. Now we have two...
Does the relocation bracket allow some amount of movement to recenter the rear axle? I am not familiar with these, though I did see that Teraflex offers them.
Good input! I really dont have a "Budget" per se, I just don't want to put a lot of money into a lift that she will never get full use from and may compromise the stock ride comfort too much. When I think of offroading, I think of what some of you guys do on the rocks and hills with massive...
Thanks for the perspective. Do you have any more info on the Bilstein 5100s? Ive been trying to figure out the length or preferably a part number for what's needed with a 2"-2.5" lift.
Having done some research to purchase new tpms sensors for some takeoff Rubicon wheels, I do not think they are backwards compatible. They have a different communication frequency and protocol from what I read.
