hey, @LostWoods + @StingyJT
I ended up going EVO 4 1/2 plush rides all around, and couldn't be happier. Preserved some of the factory rake (which I prefer) and the thing rides fantastic off and on road.
Oh yes.. I wheel, any chance I get. It's the main reason I bought it. Love taking it up to the N Georgia mountains exploring, hitting the forest service roads, water crossings, always looking for new hidden gems. Pure therapy for me.
Thanks LostWoods.. yeah, still deciding between Synergy or EVO, reached out to my shop today to see what I'd be looking at to go with the taller springs and alignment. Continued luck with your build man.
Hey thanks Len - it's been this way since setup.. I sorta noticed initially, but then 2 buddies were studying it and asked "..but why does it sit lower in the rear?". Then, I couldn't 'unsee' it ya know. There's been several posts on lift threads out here where some think the MC 3 1/2 inch is...
Thanks MoparMadness.. yeah, I was wondering. I follow a bunch of build threads on youtube, including some of the stuff Epic Adventure Outfitters does. I see them alot of times doing what they call a "frankenlift" - usually they're mostly tereflex, but often times they will do say 4 1/2 inch...
Anyone using Synergy's 4 inch coils front and rear on JTR with 37's? I have the metalcloak 3 1/2 inch game changer currently.. happy with the performance but am trying to accomplish 2 things.
#1 get a little more lift than the MC 3 1/2 inc GC yielded (w/ out spacers) &
#2 address the rear...
I don't know that the lift would actually change that measurement (pls forgive, I'm a software geek).. but I just remember when I originally ordered my GC kit, I also ordered Metalcloak's HD driveshaft. It would have been fine, but just wanted the Adams. So, ended up RMA'ing the Metalcloak one...
That's what I went with, Adams 1350 extreme duty. I would go ahead and grab a measurement before ordering, so you can do everything when you're getting lift installed. Make sure you are selecting the right 1350 front for sport, overland, or rubicon - a little further down the page they have...
I have the MC 3.5 gc on a Rubicon, it also is slightly squat in the rear..(it's bugging me) only thing in the bed is my spare 37 and wheel. I'm strongly considering 4 1/2 in RK springs all around, as I'll likely be doing 38's or possibly 39's with a regear next year, but may go ahead and do the...
That looks spot on.. I just wish mine yielded a little more lift. I'm sure you've seen the posts where there's identical Gladiators sitting side by side. One with the Mopar 2 " and the other with the MC 3 1/2 " lift. Exact same height? Not sure what that's about. Everything else about this...
I have the MC 3.5 GC w/ their RockSports. Love the ride, articulation, and flex. But same here as to the actual amount of lift the MC 3.5 yields. At the very least, I will do a rear spacer but thinking of going 4 to 4 1/2 in springs all around. Has anybody done this? I hear that Clayton 3.5...
Soon to be installing the ARB stubby bumper, and a warn winch - I tried not to want it, tried to stop staring at it.. but the BEEFY bull bar, jack mounts right there.. additional approach angle. It WILL be happening, my shop is just waiting on it to come in.
