  1. Metalcloak lift

Think I'll do the same - love the gamechanger lift, but the rear is a little too squatty for my tastes as well. Great suggestion and solution. Thanks.
  2. Metalcloak lift

@jurfie, thank you, I will indeed.
  3. Metalcloak lift

Any other thoughts on this - axle centeredness out by what looks like 3/4 in on the driver side. I know that's a small amount but just having the lift completed, if it were you would you want it adjusted a little closer to center? Not expecting perfect dead-on.. or should I?
  4. Metalcloak lift

wow, those are good rates for a full lift and driveshaft + alignment, mine was 1000 for the lift, 125 for driveshaft (1 shop hr at customer supplied parts rate) and 250 to go thru all the arms and do a serious alignment. That's pretty in-line with going rates out here in GA. (had 'em throw on...
  5. Metalcloak lift

I've got 'em on there as part of the install.. they did the full MC 3 1/2 IN GC lift - I mentioned axle centeredness initially when we were talking thru everything, they did a fantastic job on the alignment, just wish I'd asked them to check this aspect before I left.
  6. Metalcloak lift

Hey guys, would like to know what you think here.. got to looking at my jeep on the driveway, (had the lift done last weekend professionally). It was just enough to catch my eye and make me get out my tape - looks like I'm poking out about 3/4 of an inch on the driver's side. This may be a...
  7. Metalcloak lift

I did the 3 1/2 in GC - went with 37's.. just did it last weekend, looking forward to a shakedown run to see how everything works out. I may go 38's / 39's at some point, but just can't swing regearing at the moment.
  8. Metalcloak lift

Got mine put in this past weekend. Need to get some good pics and I'll post soon as.. it's a little bit of an optical illusion on the Rubi as the front fenders are positioned higher, but it looks like it basically leveled the truck out. Super happy with it and glad I had it done...
  9. How long do you plan to keep this truck?

How long do you plan to keep your current truck? As much as it costs (and how much I love it) Forever Are you making mods based on that decision? Yep And further, what is the lift/tire size on your rig? 3 1/2 " - 37" MT's
  10. Rock Rails Thread

Nice looking - and those look like they'd offer great protection.
  11. Is anybody happy with the new Gladiator

Absolutely love mine - little over 8k - zero issues, daily driver and take it offroading any chance I get.
  12. Metalcloak lift

Hey, according to Eric at MC, the 3.5 GC coils for the JT will lift the front 3 1/2 in and the rear 1 1/2 in with the lift being for a pickup truck, vs. a JLU.
  13. Metalcloak lift

Hi, Ace - I am starting out with the RockSports, primarily due them being low cost and they are supposed to be valved/tuned to go with the GC dual rate springs. I'm not expecting miracles.. later on when I have the money I'll definitely be upgrading. Would love some King or maybe Bilsteins. I...
  14. Jeep debuts Gladiator Overlander "Farout" Concept

Can you dig it..? YES I can! Neat stuff.
  15. Metalcloak lift

Hey, sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but does anyone know what the caster and pinion angle(s) should be set to on the JTR? About to do the MC 3.5 GC and of course will start with the recommended length on the CA's but what am I trying to get back to after the lift - can't seem to...
  16. Metalcloak lift

Hey, probably a dumb question but about to order the Adam's 1350 front auto driveshaft for my metalcloak 3.5 GC lift, they wanted a measurement from "flat to lip" which I took (37 and 3/8"), but as to the differential option.. I am not sure if it's the M220 or M200 on the Gladiator Rubicon...
  17. The absolute best shocks for the JT for serious offroading?

I have looked at those as well, as you say they're priced within the realm of reason. I'm sure they would impress.
  18. The absolute best shocks for the JT for serious offroading?

Dammit. I need to just break down and get one :headbang:
  19. The absolute best shocks for the JT for serious offroading?

Initially it was just the cost, and their proprietary rock sports helped me at least get the complete kit together to start - I've seen great reviews of their 6-packs tho for sure.
