  1. Installing Rivet Nuts (rivnuts) when you don't have threaded holes

Nice write up. As any FYI, I used 1/4-20 riv nuts and did not need to enlarge the holes. I then used my own hardware to install my brackets.
  2. Rubicon 392 starts in mid $70k's

I hear ya. I have the SRT and also a Hellcat. So I'm used to the price gouging. But Jeep and Dodge are two totally different business units and they treat thier product marketing/pricing differently. They know folks will pay it. They always do.
  3. Rubicon 392 starts in mid $70k's

I don't know why everyone is so surprised by this. The SRT Grand Cherokee is in the same price range. Did you expect it to be a $2K option ??? Get real.
  4. Mojave orange mods

Also got the orange stem caps off of Amazon. These were also posted elsewhere on this forum. These worked out pretty good.
  5. Mojave orange mods

I tried a couple more. These off of Ebay They are adhesive backed overlays. The adhesive strips were crap. Had to redo those. Not all that jazzed with the actual color. Not sure if I'll keep them on or not.

  8. Mojave orange mods

Most Mojave owners love their orange accents and look for other items to add to their rigs. Thought I would create a thread where we can put items we've found. Enjoy. Here's a Before/After example of where the stock black Gladiator fender vinyl just doesn't cut it. (IMO) Especially on a dark...
  9. Safety Packages?

I ordered mine with all the safety options. I didn't see cost being a factor at all. If one of those features saves me one incident with all the idiots on the roads these days, its worth it. You also have some adjustability of the functions in the "settings".
  10. MOJAVE Edition Gladiator JT Club

Gotta love the orange text. Did they come with that ??
  11. MOJAVE Edition Gladiator JT Club

In my opinion the Mojave is an all inclusive designed package. The suspension being one of the key features. I may be in the minority, but if you plan on totally redoing the suspension, I don't see the reason to get a Mojave.
  12. Lets talk about bed covers

Since the opening mechanism for the cover is inside the truck bed area, as long as the tailgate is locked, so is the bed cover.
  13. Lets talk about bed covers

I just installed the Truxedo Lo Pro soft top ($500) . My last Truxedo lasted 15 years so it was a no brainer of what I was going to buy for the Gladiator. Install was pretty straight forward and super simple removal if you have the need. Also, the Customer Service was awesome when I had a a few...
  14. Feedback on Selec-Trac Full Time 4WD transfer case?

I waited an ordered my Mojave as I too wanted the Selec trac. Its a great system for our MN winters. Set it an forget it. All I've done so far is made sure it shifted in and out ok. Which it did effortlessly. Full time snow will be here soon enough and it'll get used alot.
  15. Recovery straps or rope??

Ok, educate me on what are quality items in this category. Its been years and I need to reequip myself. I only want to buy once. I don't want crap., but I'm not made of $$$ either. I paged through Quadratec and all I got was confused.
  16. HotHead vs Mopar headliner

I installed Hot Heads about a week or so ago. Love them. Nice fit/finish and they DO help with internal noise.
  17. How long does it take these days to built JT

Just picked mine up last week. It took 11 weeks.
  18. Undercoating thoughts?

Probably a waste of $$ , but I had it done when the dealer did the bed liner and 3M protective film
