I still can't believe the Steersmarts ice cream Jeep went through the Pickle. Getting a JT through there takes good spotting too. Looks like you had a good one with JP.
Matt
I will let folks more familiar with them for the JT chime in.
In the past I used Spidertrax.

Made in the USA
And if their parts are good enough for ULTRA4 rigs, good enough for me.
LOL
Gotcha!
Wheel Spacers
Pros:
They work and inexpensive
Cons:
Some folks don't torque them correctly and have issues.
I ran them for years on an old Jeep, no issues.
Great seeing you in Moab last week Tim!!!
On a side note, Tim is the man!!! We have known each other for about 10 years now, but every time I see him I am in awe. Tim has been around forever and just knows his stuff. Glad we are friends.
Matt
Who is going to be there?!?!?
We will be set up at the Vendor Show Thursday and Friday, most likely in the parking lot.
We will also be set up out at the Shell station on the south end of town.
That's for more support on other brands.
What trails you doing?
99.9% DIFFERENT steering components. I am sure someone out there uses maybe same Tie Rod ends.. maybe.
1 ton are wider axles to begin with, that is my first thought.
So items will not transfer over.
In general, 1 ton steering is much beefier than stock and aftermarket for stock axles.
Ideally yes. And 8 lug wheels.... another expense.
Some will run a 44/60 combo.
On our JL that is light (no junk inside), we run a 44/60 on 40's...
And we just had to upgrade the steering actually. The Hammer trails are tough on rigs.
