Oil change and tire rotation every five thousand miles, whether it’s needed or not. First one was in Henderson, Nevada, at 5,000, then the second in Fairbanks, Alaska, at 10,000. Who knows where the next one will be.

Yup, Tanker it is, lol. Or “Dino-Tanker,” as they call us.
Yeah, I’ll be heading back here in a bit, start back toward the lower 48 on the 21st is the plan. Back to Montgomery when I get there.

I kept an extra five gallons in the bed of the truck, never came close to needing it. Yup, drove the haul road, actually have wanted to do it for years, finally talked myself into it once I got to Coldfoot, lol.

se to needing it.
So, as some know, I’ve been driving my JT Rubicon since the day after I picked her up on June 17. Left the next morning on my road trip. Left from Montgomery, Texas.
Wound up weeks later here in Alaska. Camping at Fort Wainright just outside Fairbanks. Been here 6 days now, leaving for...
My JT rolled over to 10,000 miles as I rolled into Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada today. It’s been 8 weeks today since I picked her up in Houston, Texas. She’s now been in Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Alberta...
I tried a search to see if there had been a discussion about CB radios, and where antennas were being installed on the vehicle but didn’t find much.
Where are the best locations for the antenna if you go this route? I’ve already got the CB from my JK but I’m having some difficulty with...
Okay, I’ve been on a road trip since the day after I picked up my new Gladiator and that will be six weeks ago come Monday, July 29th. So far I’ve got 8,147 miles since I drove it off the lot in Houston, Texas. I’m currently in Helena, Montana and will be heading out of here in about a week to...
Have had mine two weeks as of yesterday, have 3,691 as of today. Took off on a trip the day after I purchased, From Houston, Texas, to Eminence, Missouri, then to Colorado Springs, Colorado, and wound up in Dolores, Colorado for a few days. Lots of associated driving, like summit of Pikes Peak...
Yeah, that’s the hard tri-fold cover, got it at the dealer, with a 10% off coupon from their website, and they gave me an additional 10% military discount, so about $824.00. We’ll worth it, really like it.

For some reason as I drove my brand new Gladiator home from the dealer, it kept trying to drift over into the lane where there was a pickup full of plywood..
Just picked up my Firecracker Red Rubicon today. Taking off on a trip to Missouri tomorrow. More pics later. Sorry, forgot to say when I ordered it. Ordered May 1st.
Got mine ordered, Rubicon with super duper sound system, leather and some other doo dads for 53k, and I’ll be getting a great trade in for my current 2012 JKU Rubicon, not sure exactly how much yet, so it’s very doable. Reece Broussard at Northwest CDJ in Houston is the guy to see!
