The wife has had Sahara JK's since 2007. Top comes off late spring. Usually put a sunrider but the top is mesh and not solid. Rained many times on both the 08 and the 14 Sahara. No issues whatsoever on the leather seats. There are more issues with the cloth seats and the carpet.

OMG! Bumpers galore. Best place to start looking is Quadratec. And they go from mild to wild. Steel to Aluminum. You can get a decent steel one for a few hundred. the choices are almost endless. Anything thats made for the JL can be used on the JT front.
If you like the look then the OEM steel. It will take a winch. Or if you are looking for an aftermarket bumper because you like the looks then the OEM steel is a waste of money. You can sell it as there are many that will buy it in a heartbeat but you will not get out of it what you paid.
