When the Gladiator first came out, I saw the price on the Launch Edition and said nope! Went and bought a leftover '18 Camaro vert. A couple of months later, I thought I needed a new truck so I went and bought a new '19 RAM 1500 crew cab. Earlier this year, I thought it might be a good idea...
I agree that they won't be as much as $90k. Will they sell at $90k? Yeah, a few. Priced at $60k, they'll sell a lot more of them.
What's the price difference between a Challenger Scat Pack (392) and Challenger GT? The price difference isn't much more than $10k. I can't see a 392 JL or JT...
I love the soft top on my JT. While I haven't taken it completely off, for the first 3 months I had it, the rear window was out and the top was thrown back. Doubt you'd get the same open air experience with the power hard top.
The RAM 1500 is a very nice truck. I had a '19 which I traded for my Gladiator. Should have bought the Gladiator instead of the RAM. Would have saved a boatload of cash. Oh well.
I leased my JT, so in theory, I'll have it for another 3 years. However, if my needs change, I may get rid of it sooner than that. Or, since I do love this thing, I might trade it for a different trim level, and purchase instead of lease. If I do that, I'll likely keep it forever.
As long as the warranty starts at 800 miles and not 0 miles, what's the problem?
My JT had 120 miles on it when I took delivery, 118 miles when I took it for a test drive.
Was out driving my Gladiator yesterday (I've had it for a month now), and just realized that there is no dead pedal. Most of the vehicles I've had the past few years have had a dead pedal.
Does anyone else miss not having a dead pedal?
Does anyone make a dead pedal for the Gladiator?
