Got everything mounted up finally! When my new bed rail caps get here, I’ll have to take everything back off and install the spacers. So happy to have my tent finally mounted up. This setup is so much nicer than my last
I opened the panel, grabbed the left side with my left arm and right side with my right arm. Then I just slowly twisted the panel the direction it needed to go to work out the bend. Go slow and just a small amount at a time. It was actually super easy and didn’t take but 30 seconds to do.
I contacted Diamondback today and spoke with a man named Mike. Mike was super helpful and gave me some tips on how to fix the warped panel, which he said isn’t uncommon. Here’s another short video explaining it a little better

Has anyone else ran into this issue? Of course Diamondback is closed at 2pm my time, so I can’t call them and I’m mid install ?
I’ve attached a video explaining the problem. I’m not a YouTuber looking for views, the video is just simply too large to upload directly...
My JCR bumper has been great throughout my ownership. I’m looking to sell it now as I’m putting my JT on an extreme diet. It’s listed for sale in Arizona on this forum if anyone is interested
So if I’m reading your website correctly, this isn’t available in Black Twill to match most softops? That was the biggest selling point for me. If I’m correct, I’m out
Having owned the Datin rack for Softopper, I doubt you’ll have any issue. The Bestop won’t be any taller, and there was plenty of room to spare between the rack and my Softopper
