Same, probably 1400 some miles. Small rock chip the kind they like to drip the glue into for "repair", but I insisted on full replacement since it was in driver direct line of sight. I carry $0 deductible for glass-only, when owning two jeeps (the JT and a TJ) its well worth it. I did have to...
Interesting idea. I just pay for $0 deductible glass coverage on my insurance. Already got my first new windshield yesterday. :-/
Coincidentally, I was on my way back from a road trip to Santa Fe but the chip happened in Colorado.
I also see 8th gear on slight descents or more, running 315/70r17. Thats ok, I think of it like riding a bike and the truck can't "coast" downhill so one extra tall gear is a good reserve.
Also one of multiple reasons I did not want to go to 37's or taller.
I went with Sylvania Silverstar Ultra halogen bulbs to get brighter and whiter output without going to LED. Living in Colorado, I have had even halogens ice up before so I'm very hesitant to look at any LED that is not heated. I guess (OP in South Carolina) in some states thats not a concern...
Rokblokz, which I have, came out with fronts first also. Fronts just attach to the bottom of the flare, plastic flap and thumbscrews. Rears require a metal bracket bolted to the frame to suspend the flap, so that takes more engineering work to release a product than the fronts.
Warn VR EVO 10-S. Black Friday sale $633. My last Warn was solid and while I might have preferred a Warn Zeon, my usage frequency didn't justify the cost.
The Rokblokz are removable with thumbscrews for summer or offroad, I only plan to run them in snowy season.
My bet is your dealer won't get the speedo 100% accurate anyway. It took me several tries with the Tazer comparing against an iPhone GPS speedometer app to tune to a specific tire. "35"...
Heh, I owe @O|||||O for blazing the Ace trail in this thread:
BUMPERS!
And @Chaimstein for the follow on comments in the same thread. I bought a 5/8" ti drill bit and borrowed a neighbor's 1/2" drill motor to open up the frame holes to mount the Ace. The inner brackets of the stock fender mount...
Warn VR EVO 10-S install. At least the cables are routed and it works. Still need to rig a bracket for the power interrupt solenoid under the hood and wire that to an Aux switch.
I added adjustable trackbar to re center the front axle. On my Mopar 2" it was off to the driver side about 3/4". Also tpms threshold you will probably want lowered for the larger tires, Tazer JL Mini can do both. In addition with lift and larger tires you may want to look at Rokblokz mudflaps...
My opinion on this feature has slightly changed. I live in a neighborhood with some long lights, where if you just missed the light, you are going to be sitting burning gas for a long time. But I don't want to shift into park, turn off engine, and later re-start with all the impact to the radio...
Husky Weatherbeater liners here, they have upped their game since my JK versions which were also solid. Their JT product fits like a glove. I did not want to fool around with drain plugs, just occasionally remove the mats when washing and scrub them off. Put them back in. They clip right onto...
Good luck with your Durango.
I'll be enjoying driving and modding my Gator JT. Glitch free thus far and not superstitious to put that in writing. The JK before it was rock solid. In the price department, 7% under invoice thanks to the info on this forum got me making the leap.
Anyone else install Headlight Revolution reverse LED's on a Gladiator with the Halogen standard light package?
I put them on my Non-LED-package Rubi yesterday and the rubber rim on the bulbs just kind of sits on the round plastic ring in the housing, not really engaging. Its sloppy enough that...
