Looking to sell my brand new, un-opened Mopar premium soft top (P/N: 82215614) for my JT. I thought I was going to want it, but realized I just don't have the space or want to swap back and forth and I'd rather put the money toward a new set of wheels/tires. It's still in the box and the...
Anyone use either the KO2 or the Ridge Grapplers in snow? I'm probably planning to keep the Dueler A/T tires my Overland came with until they wear out, but when they do I'm curious what tires out there are capable year round.
I used two ratchet straps. One over them in the back of the bed and one over the top of the hitch extender. There are places to hook them in right on the extender. With 4x4's they're probably not that likely to slide out because of their own weight, but I'd still definitely strap them down.
For $60 that Harbor Freight one looks exactly like what I need. I'll probably still want to throw something on top of the boards, but that should easily stop them from just tipping off the back. I only need to drive about 10 minutes with them for this specific purchase.
Has anyone tried to drive carrying fairly long lumber in their Gladiator? I need to pick up a bunch of shiplap type boards for a bathroom renovation and the size I'm going to need are 12 foot boards. I know you can lock the tailgate half open to carry lumber, but I feel like that's putting the...
Can confirm, just picked up an Overland North Edition today for about $8700 off MSRP.
I also somehow ended up with a winch tow strap kit. There was a box in the backseat that neither the sales guy or I knew what it was. It said something like "tool kit" on it and we thought it might have been...
I'm looking at an Overland as well and typical discounts at the moment seem to range from around $6k-9k off MSRP. That wouldn't include other fees and taxes though. Obviously tax varies state to state as well and dealer fees range by the dealer. Some dealers will take them off or reduce them if...
Makes sense. I was just curious really. I've never run into this scenario when I purchased any of the previous vehicles I've owned so I figured I'd ask if anyone had run into that. I wasn't sure how flexible something like this was when the item is more or less an accessory. I'll find a...
Yeah, it might be a newer thing. I had a 2014 Mazda3 and it would stay in whatever setting you left it in and my current 2015 BMW 428i does the same. I've rented a few different Jeep vehicles in the last couple years and they all go back to the on setting after you turn off the car.
What model? That seems like barely much of a discount at all. That's about 10% off MSRP which isn't unusual for a Rubicon and it's low for an Overland.
That's kind of what I'm thinking. I talked to one of their sales guys briefly on the phone to set up an appointment (since that's the only way you're allowed in) and we talked about some basics in what I'm looking for, but not really what I don't need yet. I'm trying to slow play things right...
Yeah, if you ordered it, you can definitely just get the hard top. This was more for on the lot options where it's already listed on the window sticker. I wasn't sure if they could essentially take that factory option off and do a new window sticker. It's not the end of the world if I had to...
Was yours listed with the dual top package on the window sticker? You can certainly buy it with just a hard top, but I'm guessing you have to buy both tops if that's what's listed on the window sticker. Not all of the ones I'm looking at are listed with both, but a decent number of them are.
That's about what I figured for the options. My guess was if it's on the window sticker, it needs to be sold that way. Good to know that the soft tops re-sell pretty well if I end up with one with that option.
Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase a Gladiator without some factory included packages that I don't really want?
I have an appointment at a dealer Saturday to go look at a few Overlands and a lot of the ones they have listed have some extra factory options that I really don't need...
Yeah, I saw that on their site too. They advertise some pretty low prices, but I know that means they're going to lowball hard on a trade in. I wish there were more Overlands in the area to choose from.
