When I bought my '21 JT Rubicon last year, I swapped the wheels with my '15 JK Sahara. I wanted to stick with 18" wheels on my Gladiator. Plus I always like the JK Sahara wheels on the '15 models. Then I sold the JK. My wife thought my old JK looked better with the JT wheels.
I’ve put 50,000 miles on my current set of Baja Boss A/T’s and they’ve been rock solid, zero issues. Maybe you just purchased an isolated bad batch.
The Baja Boss A/T typically runs 8 to 11 lbs heavier than most of its competitors. I've been running a 33" set of these tires for the past 6 years and I've loved them, particularly their excellent performance in snow. 40,000 of those miles were on my previous 2-door JK and I've put another...
I was at the local 4x4 shop the other day and found a set of Rugged Ridge XHD Aluminum Hood Catches on sale. I had these on my JK Wrangler because they were a must to eliminate hood fluttering when driving on the interstate that the factory rubber hood catches couldn't eliminate. I haven't...
Go on Facebook Marketplace a purchase a set of JL or JT factory takeoff wheels and tires. Everyone's dumping their Rubicon and Mojave 33" factory wheels and tires for dirt cheap. They look good and it's very economical.
I took my Rough Country PRO Series 9,500 lb. Winch with Synthetic Rope off my old JK and installed it on my JT using the Rough Country Winch Mounting Plate. The mounting plate and winch fit perfectly on the Mopar steel bumper.
I then purchased the DV8 Offroad Fairlead Mounted Flip-Up...
Added a couple of Mopar accessories. I ditched the Rubicon Rock Rails and replaced them with the Mopar Heavy-Duty Rock Slider with Step Assist. You can't add them on a Rubicon from the factory, but you can on the Mojave, Willys and Sport S models. 🤷‍♂️ I spend most of the summer with the...
Installed the AEV Geometry Correction Brackets yesterday. I’ve been running with just the AEV 2" Spacer Lift only for the past year since I bought it used with the spacer kit already installed by the previous owner. I can notice the front end was raised a little. It drives very well on the...
From what I’ve read and heard, it sounds like the Fox 2.0 ATS Steering Stabilizer is an excellent choice to go with.
My question is how easy or technical is it to adjust the settings on the shock? Is it a lot of trial and error or is there recommended settings based on what type of driving...
The 2015 18-inch JK Sahara wheels have always been one of my favorite stock wheels that Jeep has made. Since I had bought my new JT before I sold my old JK, I went ahead and just swapped out the wheels and tires. I've never been a fan of the JT stock wheels, plus I wanted to stay with 18"...
That is the exact picture angle I've been looking for to help me visualize what the wheels will look like with the +12 offset. Thanks for posting it! The poke isn't super noticeable from that angle I don't think.
Now I'm just trying to decide if I want to pair the wheels with either a...
Hey! I figured I'd join in the fun and start a build thread with my '21 Gecko Rubicon that I purchased last year. I've been in love with the Gecko green color ever since Jeep introduced it on the '12-'13 JK. I found a fully loaded Gecko Rubicon in West Palm Beach, FL last year on Auto Trader...
How much poke out are you getting with that tire size and the +12 offset? I'm ready to pick up a set of Method 709's that only come in a +12 offset. Any pics by chance?
I love the machine finished look. Thanks for posting pics. That’s the exact wheel I’m likely ordering (but in an 18”x9).
Quick question everyone. How do the machine finished wheels due over time with fading or showing scratches?
I was running a set of 33" Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT's with the snowflake rating on my 2-door JK and they outperformed my old BFG KO2's I had on previously by a decent margin in the snow both on highways and off road. I sold the JK and put it's Baja Boss AT's on to my new 21' Gladiator I...
Mopar part #82215605AB. These Rubicon Rock Rails came off my Jeep Gladiator with only 20,000 miles driven with them on. They are in excellent condition. I replaced them with the Mopar Performance Rock Rails. Includes all new hardware to install. These will fit all Jeep Gladiators make and...
What has been everyone's experience with running this more basic lift kit. I have a Rubicon it'd be going on. I'm planning on going with 34.5" x 11.8" tires (295/70R18) mounted on my old stock JK Wrangler wheels for a while. Any reviews would be great.
