  1. Holes in bed?

There are 3 holes each side at the tailgate end of the bed. Mine are closed with bed liner. Are there nut-serts in there? Are there for any particular accessories?
  2. AC Appreciation

You would think when you go to a dealer a good computer system would automatically refer a problem or trouble code to the appropriate TSB but I guess it isn’t that simple. They could also require TSBs to be public info, as part of the right to repair, but the makers lobbyist and their money...
  3. AC Appreciation

Shame there is not a way as an owner to subscribe to TSBs. Or at least a place to seek them out. A lazy dealer likely doesn’t look for them until after numerous attempts to make a repair.
  4. Diesel Oil Filter No Longer Available?

Crazy. On the Cummins in the Dodges, Luberfiner actually made the filters for Cummins, and were an acceptable replacement for warranty.
  5. 22 Rubicon - PCM Update, no cigarette outlet power

Interesting. Just got back from my first wave service. Mine says RSU 1. Maybe my imagination but seems throttle response is better, but wish I could find something that explains what it up grades.
  6. Power running boards

When I was young and dumb I used those scotchlock taps. Then I wised up and if I could not get a tee that matched the factory harness plugs, I only tapped in by cutting the harness, soldering the three wires together and heavy sealing shrink wrap. On modern stuff very careful about getting into...
  7. Missing engine cover for new models (2022)?

They can claim the 2022s have a greater horsepower to weight ratio.
  8. New guy

I do plan into looking into that, likely once that is on here in Florida it would stay unless a reason for the panel comes up.
  9. New guy

I don’t need help, but what I paid makes that come slowly.

funny story about the buy. Wife and I were sitting on our porch. Someone in the neighborhood has a rag top Mustang GT. It drove by and she said she wanted a convertible. I said I wanted a pickup. Then she said, nobody makes a convertible pickup. that's when i got a big grin. dealer didn't have...
  12. Does anyone wish the wrangler platform would shrink...

I had a 84 Ranger 4x. I think it was my favorite truck of many, despite the mechanical troubles I dealt with. the 2.8 v6 was better then the 2.9, but the manual trans was a problem. Nice bed length. Great in the woods, good on gas. Hate 4 door pickups, but the Gladiator is a compromise since we...
  13. Need recommendations for center console gun safe

My rule is if I have a loaded gun legally on me or my vehicle When approached by the officer my vehicle is shut off, window down, hands out the window. Tell the officer I am carrying and where the firearm is Only move after the officer tells me what to do next.
  14. Dodge M37

Here it is working.. Found it on a farm in Maryland, not running.. Head gasket blown, replaced it and started driving it after going through the mechanical. (common problem on the Dodge flathead six) Oil pressure was low and questionable. Found a kit for the 360, rebuilt one installed it. Truck...
  15. Dodge M37

I will dig some more up. Sold it about 6 years ago. Not fast, not maneuverable in the woods but would climb a tree.
  16. Dodge M37

one of the trucks I owned for a while and did a lot of work to 61 Dodge military. Rebuilt and installed a 360 to replace flathead 6. 38 inch boggers. Had 5.83 gears.
  17. New guy
