You need to contact your dealer. Something is wrong. If it got bumped to a '23 then the first day it could be ordered was ~July 14th. You definitely should have both a VON and a VIN. Ask your dealer for a copy of the Priced Order Confirmation sheet.
I like the floorpan. It's similar to the Lance 1985 that I own with a little more room. I finally got around to weighing it on a Cat scale and it came in at 5,820 lbs. 5,020 lbs on the axles and 800 lb of tongue weight I measured afterwords with a tongue weight scale. It was outfitted with...
That seems like to long trailer to just be 5,100 lbs loaded. I'll have to check the Sonic trailers out. What is the GVWR, and have you ever weighed it on a scale?
Yes. The Jeep Tracking site is slow to update. From your dealer you can get a copy of the Priced Order Confirmation (POC) and it will have the VON, VIN, status code (D1 for example), an estimated ship date (which isn't very accurate), options list, etc. They can get status updates sooner too.
Good news. That means the safety groups won't necessarily be holding some of us up as we feared. Myself and another person also ordered safety groups on July 15th. Maybe our builds will start soon too. Thanks.
Did you order the safety groups or the Trail Rail management options? The rumor is these are options with supply chain issues. These electronics were hard to find on 2022 models
I doubt there are grounds for a class action suit. They probably dropped it because of the customer ill will it was causing due to the expectation of warranty coverage where there wasn't any. That's my guess anyway
Maybe the way to look at this is that GG does not prevent cracks it just makes them less likely. So instead of replacing the windshield every year, maybe it's every 2 years with GG. Less aggravation...
It seems that none of us really answered your question about whether or not there are towing guides out there. Here are some that could help explain some of the details. You could find more by doing searches...
Before I ordered my Jeep I searched the forum for Gorilla glass recommendations and found posts like yours and decided to pass on the option. So thanks for posting.
If it's any consolation to you, if you had the normal glass windshield it would be shattered too. Maybe worse. Also, Jeep...
You're the third one I've seen start production. Congratulations. I am curious, did you order the safety groups or the trail rail management system options?
That trailer's specs on the website are 3078 lbs shipping weight, whatever that means, and 772 lbs cargo carrying capacity. The total implies the GVWR of the trailer is 3850 lbs, but that could be incorrect. The CCC seems low, but some trailers list that as the cargo available once the...
Ever see this guy? I don't know him except from his YouTube videos at CJ Pony Parts and this news gig. But he knows and owns Jeeps, he works at a dealer sort of close by to you, and maybe he can give you advice?
Walking away from this guy, with your deposit intact, might be the best thing for your peace of mind. But I would try to clear it up with the sales manager first. You'll find out that the sales person will get an attitude adjustment, or you'll find out the sales manager is an uninformed idiot...
So you have ordered the Gladiator or just trying to order it? The salesperson is absolutely wrong. If you haven't committed to them then find another dealer. If you have committed then elevate to the sales manager and I would do it in person. If no satisfaction with the dealer then elevate...
Every input I see is great advice. Don't go overweight, get a weight distribution hitch and a brake controller, etc. I will add that you need to be wary of the weight numbers your trailer retailer is telling you. DO NOT go by dry weight. That is without fuels and water and all the options...
I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. She had to get the info from what she called a "Jeep Mentor" and maybe they just blew her off, maybe it was considered sensitive info, or maybe she meant "...late September/October. In the later case she's not too far off. @Shooter McGavin...
