That goes without saying. Many have reported stripping the cap, I stripped mine a little last time I was changing my fuel filter so I am looking at a replacement cap anyway. I have a rubicon so there is a "skid" over the filter, but I cannot comment on how durable that metal bucket is.

Looks like BMP makes a cummins fuel filter conversion kit for the factory housing. It wont work for our application due to the location, but its interesting none the less...
I wish there were a kit that relocates the fuel filter housing to a safer, more accessible location. An all-billet housing would also be a significant upgrade in terms of durability and serviceability.
I searched the filter housing part number from the picture. It appears that the OEM cap for the that filter housing, is the same part number used on Ecodiesel Ram.

I highly recommend taking your Gladiator to a CAT scale and getting an accurate weight. You’d be surprised how quickly these trucks creep over GVWR.
Once you have the total weight, calculate your sprung weight by subtracting the weight of the wheels/tires and axle assemblies. That number is...
Thanks for the info. I am running a Clayton 3.5" lift on my JTRD with Fox Performance Elite 2.5s.
Even with the added weight of a metal front bumper, winch (synthetic), Rockhard Rock sliders, AluCab Canopy, Dual battery set up with ARB elements fridge that lives in the jeep full time + weight...
Has anyone confirmed the compatibility of the ZF 24119503407 transmission oil pan?
I contacted ZF directly, but they stated that they cannot compete with MOPAR and therefore were unable to provide any answers. They referred me to Eriksson Industries, and I’ve reached out to them—still waiting...
Thanks for Chiming in. My thought behind it was only activating the system when I am towing across the gauntlet on I70. The camper I tow is around 3,500 lbs, high altitude passes is the only time I see my temps rise. (Coolant around 240, oil 260)
Yep, I've been around the performance industry since 05, ran marketing efforts for AMS for a number of years... I am still shocked how behind certain performance market segments are in terms of quality of products.
I'm considering rigging up windshield washer nozzles to spray liquid onto the radiator to help with heat dissipation when towing my camper through high-elevation passes. There are plenty of universal windshield washer kits available, so it should be a relatively straightforward setup.
