agreed! I have lived out of and traveled in 6 states quite comfortably in a RTT on my JTT and seen so much with it so far. Such a fun, useable platform.
Whatcha mean? For the JLU platform, the only way you can get the 392 engine is the Rubicon trim. It’s a one-size fits all affair. For the Gladiator, I liked the Mojave trim the best for all around fun.
I want “that.” I have been waiting for the Ranger Raptor to come to the states for years. Stopped by a dealer in Australia and checked out the previous generation. I DO plan on blasting across the desert!!
THATS THE SPIRIT!! Life is short!!
I kid you not. I am currently laying in bed with my laptop on my stomach coughing my lungs out with COVID. Got the positive yesterday. After 2 years, it got me. Thanks for the encouragement...made me smile!
Will do. I dearly dearly wish they would have made a Mojave-style 392 JT. It would have been quite pricey, but so so soooooo worth it. I would have been there day one.
I just happened to order two days before they closed the books on the "XR" package for the 392. I had no crystal ball to see that they were gonna do that. I really am a "leave it mechanically stock" kinda guy when it comes to cars. I love warranties, so the XR package was a perfect fit for...
I gave it consideration, but the 392 easily won. I live in a half door/no door/roof off climate year round. In fact, my Mojave is doorless and roofless right now. lol The TRX is a great truck, but I don't need another truck. Before tax and tags with the XR and half doors, the price is $82k...
haha no worries. From what I have seen from others, people that ordered and got great prices in 19 and 20 have been able to basically break even these days. Probably last, but it has been that way. (That's including the taxes you paid)
I've been waiting and waiting for some sort of announcement in regards to the JT and a 392. Alas, it ain't coming. Finally broke down and ordered a:
2022 Hydro Blue JLU 392 XR
-dual door package
-tow package
-trail camera
-floor mats
-headliner
It will be real interesting to see how it...
The Mojave is a fantastic riding truck! I have no complaints with my Mojave 6spd. I guess the only complaint I have is that I’m the opposite of you..I’m single and no family, so I’m selling my Gladiator soon. I have a 22’ 392 XR on order to replace my Mojave. It has been a perfect truck and it...
Ohhhhh, I get it! We’re not too far off, my friend. My CR has 36k miles and the Base has 18k miles. Both are stock and paint corrected. The Base is 100% film wrapped and ceramic coated. Shows as new off the factory line.
I too have a couple S2000s to compliment my Mojave. I drive the Gladiator a couple times a week, and the S2000s a couple times a month.
Three convertibles. Three manual transmissions.
