I got this one for $30: Bond LH043 D-Handle Fiberglass Round Point Shovel, Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T1K6D1A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_zxt4jaYG5JWWH
I took an angle grinder to it and gave it a slight edge to cut thru roots a little better.
Used it in a mild recovery last week to throw gravel...
Cool - I went ahead and ordered them too. I may not mount the lower d-ring mounts right away but need to get this bumper I'm not keeping off the truck and returned so hopefully will come in by this weekend...
Hey all - after months of trying to get a good aftermarket bumper I like, I've decided to go back to the OEM steel bumper and put a winch in there.
Only thing I'm hung up on is the lack of D Ring loops for closed circuit winching. The only solution I've found (besides the Warn that deletes...
I'll throw a wrench in here (but maybe not). It seems that the GaiaGPS app is now beta testing to add CarPlay functionality. I have their first beta V2020.1 and it does work OK. There are not really any options on the CarPlay screen so far except zoom in and out and it will display the track...
THIS is what customer service is about! Photos look great—bravo for the improvements. I think mine was in the Jan shipment—sounds like March now but I can wait if I must. Just need it before April kicks off.
There might be better ones out there but I'm super happy with this one. I use it nearly daily and it was cheap (a rare thing for this JT it seems!). Glad to help!
Not sure if this is what you're looking for but has served me well for groceries and lighter items. I had it clipped on the trail rail points but now moved it slightly lower to the built right bedside racks after I installed them. I bought some better carbeaner clips the originals were too...
Oh I get the math! Thx. I just meant tricky to know actual lift when changing two things at once. Still have to guess at tire height change (with vehicle weight on them) unless they were swapped and measured as a separate step.
I too am holding out for the 2.5" kit as I'll likely only go with 35" tires and want to keep my CG as low as possible for the style of driving/offroad I'm looking to do (as my thinking goes today, anyway).
For those of you installing the MC lift - would love to see before/after measurements...
Just got my power tank mounted up. I rotated the mount 90 degrees so the gauges are up when tipped back and mounted to the bed side rack. There were two mount holes that lined up with the small builtright slots so used 1/4 carriage bolts to secure it mount. With the tank boot touching the...
@BuiltRight — for those that have the hard Tri fold tonneau covers there are drain hoses that go to the front of the box. Do you have an option to get the front panels with cut outs that allow for these hoses? I’d hate to try to cut and repaint the panels if I don’t have to. Any options here...
Just playing with it, looks like if you mount the PT mount on the side and lean it back to 30-45 degrees it would sit low enough. The question is whether it will mate to the BR rack at this angle or maybe an adapter plate is needed...
Hey everyone--I am thinking of getting a set of these but had a couple of questions:
@BuiltRight , I've got the Mopar Tri fold hard tonneau cover which has the flexible drain lines that connect at the front of the bed. Is there enough room to route these behind or have an option to cut out a...
