Thanks again to everyones inputs above!
Mine appears to be getting a little better. Just crossed 2000 miles. Apparently most of my driving is city more than others. We did take it on a 3 hour trip up to Breckenridge last weekend. Averaged 17.5MPG at ~5 above speed limit all the way from the...
Thanks again! The hole relocation looks simple enough. Was it about 1"?
Looks like I can safely order and install the BR panels now before my RLD comes in next month.
Can't wait to see more pictures!
Thanks for posting! This is the exact issue I was concerned about. Do you have the front BuiltRight panels too? Curious if any interference there too? Looks like the two rear mount points need to be redialed about 1.5" forward and its a fit, is that right?
Actually, the solid side doors are standard and windows or sliders are optional. I think the front slider is standard so you can access from the back seat of the truck (kinda).
here is a link so you can see the options...
Please do send some photos. I've got one on order as well. Really interested to see how it connects inside the box (and if I can get some bed side mounting solutions once RLD installed). Keep us posted!
I'm right there with you! That say we've got amazing capable trucks. Go out on a few trails in your area and you'll better know what your true requirements are.
Makes sense. I'm gonna hold out for the 2.5" game changer after Christmas anyway. I think my JT has taken more than her fair share of $$ from me this year!
Looking at their website for the JL kits, they usually have the option of the 6 pack shocks and the RockSport Long Travel shocks. Their 3.5 game changer for the JT is missing the RockSports. Wondering if this an oversight or they are not compatible (or they don't have a supplier yet for them)...
I bought an extra plastic clip and secured with zip ties. If they slip over time lll check out that flashlight holder but I think this should be good to go.
This is my first Jeep so I was a bit ignorant but the steering is MUCH more loose than anything I've ever owned. Would like a fix for it as well. For me it is: loose/deadspot steering, steering wheel is crooked (2-3 degrees to left), "sticky" steering wheel when cold (encountered first time...
Same for me. I had them check it as well as the alignment and they swore the steering wheel is straight but it is still clocked to the left. Drives me crazy. Will have them look at it again when I get the sticky steering issue looked at...
This happened to me this evening! Steering felt very heavy particularly on left turns and I had to put a lot of force to get it to turn left mid drive. Then it "broke free" and behaved Ike normal. Twice this happened today.
Thanks for everyone's posts in this thread! I ended up pulling the trigger yesterday on a Westin full bumper and Smittybilt x2o 10k synthetic and a flatlink. I nearly went 12k but trying to keep weight down where it makes sense. Looking forward to bolting it all on before Thanksgiving.
