White rim is absolutely beautiful. Make sure you go to the top first (or last) so you can see it from the bird’s eye view.
I took my trusty old DRZ and loved it. Will probably do it again.
FYI- our camper is officially for sale in the classifieds. Send me a DM if interested.
We are sad to see it go, but know it will continue to bring joy to its future owner on their adventures.
Hello
We are unfortunately selling our Alu-Cab Canopy Camper. It has been amazing for us and our needs, but it is time to bring happiness and convenience to its new owner.
No interior buildout so it’s a perfect slate to fit your needs.
We have an incredible opportunity ahead of us and need...
Life is too short, I would pull the trigger and get what you want. As long as you can reasonably afford it.
Rubicons are great, but if you won’t be needing all the bells and whistles go for the max tow!
We use the lockers and low range all the time, so we got the rubicon and are super happy...
How tall are y’all and which sizes did you go with?
What about spouses heights?
I’m 6’2” with a 34” inseam
Wife is only 5’1”
Will she be even more uncomfortable after the mod?
I know I am going to catch hell, but the only reason we went with the 8 speed is because we wanted the factory remote start and…..ACC. With as much long droning highway miles we do I am glad we did and would do it every time.
My first ever auto, and I don’t care, it’s great.
ps- we are also on...
Fwiw- I run BFG KO2 37s on Mopar 2” on my JTR 8 speed
a few things to note:
1. BFG sizes run smaller than advertised
2. The 8 speed auto makes it work on the stock 4.10 gearing of the rubicon
3. We live at 10k feet in elevation
4. Regear would be nice but not mandatory
5. We wheel all the time...
I’d be all in on a hybrid Gladiator! M-F all electric commuter and silent trail driving in short spurts…umm yes please.
and a decent small turbo motor to get me home. Win/Win imo
