It will definitely improve livability, especially if you have a manual, but what it comes down to is, is that increase in livability worth the cost of gears and install to you? Also, as teamblkdog mentioned, if you aren't getting into 7/8 on the highway with an automatic, it could very well...
What are your thoughts on why it isn't available with the manual transmission? I've heard a few theories, but you seem more mechanically inclined than most.
If you will at some point want a locker in the rear but are okay without one in the front, Mojave. If you will want lockers front and back, Rubicon. If you don't care about lockers, you are probably better off going with a lower trim and upgrading the gearing.
Edit: Assuming you have no...
The only time I notice ESC being on or off is when I go to slide around a corner. With it on, you can't do a decent slide(or donuts in the snow).
As for HSA, I had to turn it off. I tend to be very quick off the clutch and always beat the HSAs release of the breaks, causing a stall. I like...
Mind you I optioned pretty much all the luxury items, but even my wife with her Camry Hybrid that has all the luxury options is jealous of my interior.
As for halogens and speakers, you should have checked out a few first. I went for the LED lights and the premium sound package and couldn't...
Never attribute to politics that which can be attributed to simple greed. Of course, anyone who wants to believe otherwise is in luck. For every belief, there is a supporting internet source these days.
If the passenger heated mirror isn't working, that's the plug I would check first. These posts make me really nervous about taking my doors off.
Add me to the few folks who like ESS. I don't find it intrusive, though it does have a bit of a learning curve. It yells at me sometimes when I...
Oh, absolutely. I wasn't trying to imply that all Ivermectin is horse wormer, only that people are literally going to Tractor Supply and buying it in horse wormer form to treat Covid.
Welcome to the age of "No belief is wrong"! If you don't agree with an opinion, you are only a click away from finding one you agree with. Unfortunately, the same goes for facts. No matter what your bias is, it can be confirmed in a matter of seconds. In this world, the earth can be flat...
This is excellent information. I'm not sure how a business can claim they aren't responsible for a vehicle left in their care. We aren't talking vandalism in a Walmart parking lot. You gave them the key. I had to have business insurance just to take photos of cars for car dealerships, knowing...
I think are are in agreement on most of this stuff. If I want to own a movie, I will purchase it, which I have done for a few recently, but always digitally because I'm lazy and like that they don't take up physical space. Renting is easier than ever, but so is buying, though its a bit more...
The difference between those and paying a monthly fee for features in a car is that most of the things you listed are improvements over how things were formerly done. I much prefer streaming my television to paying for cable or satellite tv. I still buy games, but there are some "free" ones I...
I would say peak torque and peak horsepower are both fairly useless in these applications. Whether you like horsepower or you like torque, what matters is the curve. A Ninja 650 has more torque at a much lower RPM than a Yamaha R6, but its no contest who wins that race. I guess the only real...
Hard to compare an engine dyno to one measuring at the wheel, but I digress. Like Nacho, if the diesel was available in manual, I would probably have strongly considered it, but I detest driving automatics. Anyone have a link to 1/4 mile times comparing the two in similar builds?
Wouldn't the gasser get better acceleration? The diesel produces more low end hp, but the gasser produces more at the top end. But in the end, the diesel weighs significantly more.
