The most appealing jeeps to me are the simplest of each model. I guess if you are forced to make it a daily driver it might be appealing. But off road, 700 additional pounds for something that needs to be plugged in, (I did read that correctly, no?) is never appealing. Did they say it was a...
I noticed the 4xe package added close to 1000 lbs to the wrangler. This would cut the over all load capacity of the JT by 1/3 to 1/2 the over carrying cap. No thanks. I would rather see a better, 4 cylinder diesel, with better cooling than the current V6 crammed in there, just because they had...
Premium soft top. no hoists, easy down, easy up, superior classic look, but I would recommend garage keeping it. I vote no on the 3 piece jigsaw puzzle. Rag top all the way.
Okay. I just went to a 4.5" and 37's, but just for trails. Most of the time I run my 33's. Glad its not going to set you back to bad. But most of all, I'm glad to hear you are using your JT out on the trails!.
Out of curiosity, what lift size did you go with? Very sorry to hear this. other than the Fender, was there any body damage that will be spendy to fix?
Not attempting to offend anyone, but am I the only one using my JT on BOH Trails,
rock crawling or mud?
37's are ok, but 40’s are looking like a better and better future option, but so is a V8 & 1 ton axles, ha ha.
Lets see some off road flexing.
To me, a Gladiator is a Jeep with a bed, more of a recreational toy. Exactly what I wanted. If I needed a work truck, I would have gotten a 2500 or a 3500. But thats me. I'm not a 1/2 ton fan, of any brand. The Gladiator is probably the best 1/4 ton truck around, ha ha
Yup, I use my 33's for towing my 4k lb trailer. But when I have my ultra light RTT and/or do trails, I drive to where I'm going, (Moab - Ouray from Idaho) then thro the 37's on. 5.13's No regrets, on the trails or for towing.
