  1. 3.0L "Tornado" Straight-Six Engine (GME T6) Coming to Various Jeep Models

Well sorry to hear this. I use my JT exclusively for towing my 4k lb trailer and trails, no DD crap and it has worked flawlessly for 3 years now. Only 28k miles on it, but they are all hard miles. Yes upgrades have been performed, 5.5" lift, front driveline to accommodate, re-gearing for 37"...
  2. JT comes with Vaseline

oh come you tightwads, get your checkbooks out, get two! These are classics! Ha ha! WTF? Remind me not to shop at that dealership
  3. Fire Fire! My Gladiator burned down

That is absolutely horrible. dangit. Hang in there.
  4. Gladiators and Camper Pictures

Just my opinion, but way to much $ and not something for dirt roads. This would be nice behind an Escalade. I have the Jayco Baja 174BH and it's been dirt road boondock proven, solar equipped enough to run a microwave, filters water out of a creek, river or lake to refill fresh water tank and...
  5. Gladiator Soft Tops

I love my Mopar Premium soft top. I guess I'm just the odd duck, but I hate the "Chop top" look of the hard tops. 3 years and no complaints, problems or leaks. I love the ease of use. It was a no brainer when I saw saw it deployed. No removing and storing with those goofy ceiling mounted...
  6. MPG and range

My thoughts, from my previous thread about this. And I might be getting 11 mpg now. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/10mpg-w-37s.53727/
  7. AHHHHH!!!!WTF? Aux switch help!

Ummm, I never had to undo that one. Hmmmm. thats what I get for not following the directions in the owners manual.
  8. We finally did it....

Quality Jeep service is with the Specialty Shops. Mechanic turn over is lower than the Dealerships. Plus there are so many speciialty shops that do better work as well. You just have to make it through the warranty period. I think I'm going to make it. I have a great network of support...
  9. Bigger tires vs. re gearing?

I re-geared to accommodate my usage with 37" tires. I pull a 4k lbs trailer, and I find myself in rock gardens on BOH trails every summer (Rubicon is next). I tried leaving the 4.10 gears on, but in both of the afore mentioned scenarios, performance lacked. Dropping to 5.13 gearing worked...
  10. Can we talk about 2 things ?

The 3.0i is what I'm interested to see play out. Whether or not it gets added to the JT lineup remains to be seen. I bought my JT because it looks like a Jeep, that is exactly what I wanted, and I like that it was planned that way and that there is so many interchangeable parts, that was...
  11. Sport S vs Rubicon

I went to 5.13 gears. Sooo nice when I'm in the Rocks. I probably need to up date my build sheet/page. Hoping to do the Rubicon in June.
  12. Super mega gladiator meetup

I like the idea, but I probably won't be able to add any additional vacations on this year. But I'll do what I can.
  13. Greetings from Germany with our 2020 JT 3.6 Rubicon Gobi

Welcome! Enjoy, and keep posting pics! love it.
  14. Sport S vs Rubicon

I have a Sport S, that I planned to keep building up to what ever it is I envision that day (this is not economical) but I love it. I special ordered it as bare bones as I could (for a Max Tow) and it has never let me down and I push it to the limits all the time, it is purely for fun, trails...
  15. Power steering locks up on my 2020 Gladiator !!

very sorry to hear this. Especially the way parts are so hard to get. Best of luck, and keep us posted on the good or bad.
  16. lifting my max tow

So I did the Sky Jacker 4.5" up front, then added a new driveline and went to 5.5" up front and just ordered Teraflex triple duty rear springs so I could still tow without the sag, removing the Skyjacker 3" rear lift and making it a solid 4.5" rear lift with those triple duty Teraflex springs...
  17. Well I sold my Gladiator

    You'll be back
  18. To trade or not, what would you do.........

I'm right there with ya, almost the exact mileage, but you have some very nice equipment and accessories that I passed on. I think the dealer here offered me about 37,000 sight unseen. All that work and goodies add up. All things considered, I just don't have the energy or time to start over...
