I'm like everyone else on this thread! Itching to free up some room in my pockets!
  2. Torque Wrench

Thanks! I had the same experience with my HF one. I purchased a Precision Instrument PREC3FR250F off of Amazon warehouse for just over $100 a few hours ago. One of it's selling points was that it doesn't need to be turned down before being put away. I appreciate almost everyone's input!
  3. Gladiator overland best mud flaps

I ran WeatherTech mud guards on my old F150 and they were great! They are a 'to-do' item this coming spring on my JT. If you are considering them, you'll likely want to buy them directly through WeatherTech; otherwise if you have a warranty issue you'll likely have to work through the vendor...
  4. YES!!!! it fits in the garage

Spot on! When I traded in my F150 for my JT I had assumed that I would finally own a vehicle that fit my home's double garage. I was truly disappointed to find my dreams had been crushed...:CWL:
  5. YES!!!! it fits in the garage

Alas, out here in Central Tx, garages in new home construction aren't big enough to fit my JT...

  8. Torque Wrench

Hence my concern over their quality. If their product conformity is all over the place, I don't see how it can be trusted?

The PI comes with a Calibration Compliance Certificate.
  11. Torque Wrench

I went ahead and purchased one made by Percision Instrument. It’s made in the US. I was able to buy it for just over $100 on Amazon Warehouse. I couldn’t pass up the price! Thanks for everyone’s input!
  12. Torque Wrench

A snap-on us at the top of me list but it looks like it’s made by PT and made in the US.
  13. Torque Wrench

I can see that. I was hoping to skip the overseas part entirely and support 100% US manufacturing.
  14. Torque Wrench

So I’ve been reading. However I’ve also read that ā€˜made in Taiwan’ is quickly becoming ā€˜labeled in Taiwan’ and made in China.
  15. Torque Wrench

i looked at it, the price is great, but it’s made in Taiwan...
  16. Torque Wrench

Any idea as to where it’s made?
  17. Torque Wrench

Honestly it’s made in China and I don’t believe their factory is going to provide an honest tool with honest calibration. It is their cheapest one that cost me $25 a few years ago... I watched a few videos on YouTube that showed it’s calibration was off wildly. I was looking at one made by...
  18. Torque Wrench

Can anyone make a recommendation for a solid, American made torque wrench that doesn’t break the bank? I’m going to put a lift on my JT and I’ve only got a cheaply HF that i don’t trust...
  19. Texas Dealership???

I purchased mine at Nyle Maxwell in north Austin. Price was great, salesman was ok. Finance was shocked by my high credit score and couldn’t understand why I didn’t want FCA’s 5% interest. They worked to get an acceptable rate. Overall the deal went well. As an aside, the best finance...
  20. 2021 Bronco

My wife is on the waiting list for the Bronco Outer Bank edition. The only change she will make is the add the 2.7 V6. My prior ’16 F150 had it and I found the engine to be quite reliable with a lot of pep. The return of the bronco is good for everyone, Jeep/Toyota are getting lazy and didn’t...
