The overland has LSD and the Rubican does not? Is that right ?

The Rubican is looking better and better to me. Are the on road manners that much worse on the Rubican compared to the other trims?

Rubicon is good for towing? I thought because of it’s setup for off road that it’s towing was weaker.

When you say the Overland will have better road manners. Besides stock tires any other reason this would be true?

What!! Well that sucks. Why the hell did I think that was a sure thing. Might change my mind on which trim now.

I’m leaning towards the Overland because of the auto 4 wheel drive and a lesser extent the unique dash. Also it should fit my needs with some mods and be less in price then the Rubicon.

Mine from ebay will arrive on the 12th. I paid to much for something that should be free but what the hell. I tried two dealers close to me neither one had any idea what I was talking about. The one dealer said I could place my order by the end of the month though.

Still between the Rubican and Overland. Anyone know the tire size that comes with the Overland? And what is the max with a 2” lift for the overland.

What would be the main advantages to the wider axels?

I also have changed my mind from Rubicon to Overland. I don’t need all the off road goodies of the Rubican and it’s a little to in your face for me. The only thing I will miss is the higher fenders. I figure if I switch to a more aggressive tire on the Overland and new bumper I will be set...

My thought was just that. Stand in the bed move it back a couple feet. Sit on the bed then with two people walk it off the back. I hope it's that easy at least.

If I'm not mistaken if you get the trailer brake controller option it will replace the 12V socket. I'll be choosing the TBC.

We had videos almost immediately of the top removal after the JL was shown last year. Surprised we haven’t seen the same on the JT.

I thought that was strange as well. He also sounded like he was out on a bender the night before. Haha

If can live with that. I’m sold on an army green of some sort.

Any videos of the hard top removal yet? One big advantage the JT should have over the JL is the ease of removal for the hard top.

Can anyone confirm that Gator is what Tank used to be? I’ve driven a Tank colored Wrangler before so would be cool to know.

Good tip. It looked great on my phone. If it has a good amount of green in it it's the way i'm going.
