  1. Gearing

I know. That said I sure would---can't believe Jeep got rid of the manual option. I see waaay to many drivers completely zoned out while driving. A manual pretty much forces you to pay attention. If mine gets totaled somehow I would probably replace it with the newest version of the Mojave...
  2. Gearing

I have a manual transmission so it stays in any gear I put it in. I purposely keep the gear in whatever keeps the engine between 2500-3000 rpm. That is definitely the sweet spot for my truck to be responsive to my right foot. I drive fast on the highway, with the speed of traffic in cities...
  3. 🎄 Christmas Giveaway: What's Your Beloved Jeep's Name? 🎁

Wife unit named my JT Mojave "Olive" because it takes, "all of my money and all of my time". God I love that woman.
  4. Which do you prefer? Cloth or leather?

I specifically ordered my 22 JT Manual transmission and manual seats Mojave completely loaded to include the leather. The leather is always going to keep a better resale value. I have seat towels for the 4 winter months I spend in the FL keys and July/Aug here in MO.
  5. What did you get for Black Friday / Cyber Monday?

I did mine on a warm day and it about killed me. Still not completely installed in front around the forward central console. That said I'm pretty sure it's just due to my having only 30% use of one harm and weak hands due to having a bone out on both sides due to severe arthritis. But I do...
  6. Official: 2026 Gladiator - What's New + Willys ‘41 Buzz Model Special Edition Annouced

No offense my brother but too many drinks or drugs to make this vehicle any where near a Jeep vehicle.
  7. JEEP COMMANDO 392 LIMITED EDITION by Fox Factory Vehicles debuts for Veterans Day! 🪖 🫡

Exactly right. Can't tell you how many Marines I brought in for a talk and teach over this issue in my 30+ years of active service.

  9. Installed Willys Tailgate Decal

That's why I went old style and big.
  10. Stellantis aux switch survey

I have the aux switches and am currently using only one [aux 3] for my Garmin Tread. Because I have aux 3 set up to always come on once the vehicle is in the run condition or started I actually don't mind the location at all. I have stealth led lights mounted on either side of my windshield...
  11. Mopar Unveils Festive "Ugly Sweater" Trail Armor

I would only want it on when I'm off road. Does anyone on this forum have it? How easy is it to remove and roll it up and put it back in the bag?
  12. Planned Obsolescence by Auto Manufacturers

I'm not going to argue with the OP. That said I disagree with his reason for not buying the Gladiator. As was said above, it's a life changer---at least for me. If you like it and can afford it then buy or lease it. Planned obsolescence started at the turn of the 20th century with the...
  13. Official: Reign Color Returns for 2026 Gladiator Lineup

Definitely a mall crawler / sorority girl color. 🤮
  14. We made it to the bottom of the WORLD!

Best part of being a Marine for 30+ years is not only all the travel---but getting paid for it :) . The Corps sent me to every continent except Antarctica----though going through the Strait of Magellan got me real close.
  15. Windshield Defense - A little insurance goes a long way

3 weeks in and I still don't have it.
  16. Traded my gladiator

For 9 years [after I got back to the states for good after serving more than 8 straight years overseas] I waited for Jeep to come back with a Truck. And the only reason I was willing to wait is because they kept coming up with Concept Trucks so I knew sooner or later they would manufacture one...
  17. Show your tinted Gladiators and tell us what % percentage tint film

Chris, I could give a flying F#$K about my post count. The point of a forum is the exchange of ideas, tactics, and techniques to help each other. Blind agreement is not what anyone wants. Sure there are trolls that just want to stir things up but that is not my intent. There is another...
  18. We made it to the bottom of the WORLD!

What outstanding adventurers, partners, and parents you are. Question, what languages do each of you speak?
  19. New Gladiator, what to do?

I agree with so much that has been recommended. Expensive but the Rock Slide Engineering Gen 3 rock sliders/steps are fantastic and especially necessary if you lift the vehicle at all. I have LoD front and rear bumpers. As I realistically only spend about 5% of my time off road full length...
