Got bed tent for Xmas to get ready for Mohave trail trip in the spring. just needs a couple mods (add window in doorway and zipper access to rear window of truck so we can interact with Akita sleeping in back seat dog hammock) and it will work nicely. I run a portable 100amp L-ion battery crate...
I have the AT4's E rated and am very happy. no issues. rides great w Mopar 2" lift. I stuck w 285/75/17's to keep gearing normal for towing. have a friend w Mohave /35's and it doesn't seem any better on the road or trail.
free to roam, does the overland have wide track axles? are your rubi takeoffs 33's?
Not jeep beer sleep , what size tires are you running?
thanks to everyone for replies.
Thinking about going up w tire size from 285/75/17 to skinny 35's. I had to install 1.5" spacers to clear Apez discos( awesome!) what offset should new wheels be to ensure no rubbing. Sport S has narrow track axles compared to Rubicon / Mohave /max tow versions. would prefer to eliminate...
the harbor freight Roadshock 6 lights are awesome for the price! very bright, has spot /flood/ marker function. very happy withe the results. only $130 each w coupon.
I'm looking to wire HF 4" road shocks to my Voswitch jl400 switch. could you share your version? I'm hoping to figure out a way to prevent both high and low from coming on at same time to prevent frying the lights. I would prefer to wire each light independent as I plan to have amber lens on...
Anybody installed Road shock 4 or 6 lights with Voswitch jl400? They cannot have both spot and flood lights on at one time..will fry lights. I'd like to have each light independent high low as I plan to run 1 with amber lens and 1 white. Any input is appreciated.
my jeep liberty burps and splashes you with a LOT of gas. I just stand back or stop way before full. they had a recall repair but local dealer would not honor it. still does it.
News flash! "man lights self on fire filling up jeep" film at 11!
Jeep dealerships suck.
33" Falkens with Mopar 2" lift. added spacers to clear Apex swaybar disconnects as I have sport S with narrow axle configuration. Poke is about 1.25".
I like the look and towing is a breeze with 3:73 gearing.
Took JT on Dillon Rd. through Berdoo Canyon up into Joshua Tree last Sunday. Trail was washed out a few places and wife spotted us thru with zero issues in 2x. We did disconnect Apex sway bar connectors but did not air down. Great day and not much traffic on the trail, desert is starting to...
got my 2020 this past April with only 5k miles on it. Now has 9000 all trails and to /from. no work commute. Can't wait till the desert cools down a bit Absolutely love it!
I made a carbon fiber panel and used trail rail threaded holes and tiedown bolts at D rings to mount it. ( i have bedliner too) then mount whatever you want. s a lot lighter than steel molle racks. I cut slots for straps and have modular storage bags from Amazon. Tiedowns, water, tow rope...
