I always use AA.
At this point, it's now an OCD issue for me. It's there and it doesn't work. Drives me a little nuts.
I suspect, just like the VR steering wheel button, that it is not restricted to the Navigation commands.
When I tap the on-screen 'VR' icon (as seen in my video) it tells me I need a subscription and go to the Uconnect site. There is nothing about this on the Uconnect site.
Therefore, the icon is there whether subscribed or not. :)
Do you have the same 'VR' Search & Go icon, always showing in the top right corner of the touch screen?
I'm already signed up (Uconnect and XM) for both the 2018 JL and the 2020 JT.
The JL has never had this icon on the screen...only the JT has it.
According to Uconnect website, for my VIN...
Bump for any updates on Search & Go. (this is not the same thing as Uconnect Send & Go)
Who has it and does it work? If you have it working, how did you go about subscribing?
Thanks
"All"
Not one other Gladiator on the lot had Uconnect Search & Go.
It requires a subscription.
Can you show me yours working so I can show the dealership here.
There's nothing at Jeep.com, the owners manual or on the internet about it.
The only issue I have had with the 2 past Wranglers and Gladiator I now own, was a poorly adjust drag link making my steering wheel off centered. I wouldn't call it a gremlin.
Other than that, it's been a slice. :)
Oh yeah, I have an extra feature that nobody else seems to know anything about...
I have to agree and I wouldn't place something as strong as a 3M overlay over the designated airbag launch opening.
I grabbed a clip from the NHTSA showing the moment when the passenger airbag deploys.
Personally I wouldn't want my family or friends being the crash test dummy for my own...
I think companies are pinching pennies with the whole 'help us go paperless' scenario on the premiss of being more environmentally aware.
They ship in giant cardboard (paper) boxes and are expecting us to believe they're concerned with saving paper and the environment. Throw in a few...
I noticed in the above, this shows an Exterior Feature called - Off-Road Switch Bank (Rubicon).
My JTR lists the same Exterior feature on my 'real' Window Sticker (scan below).
What is an Off-Road Switch Bank? Is it supposed to be the Aux switches?
Is it something for connecting/intalling the...
Hi folks. I ordered a DB a week ago.
What is the maximum verticle clearance inside the bed? (when the DB is closed :) )
I am curious because I would like to get a few things on order, such as large totes/cooler, so I would like to know the tallest object that will slide in without hitting the...

The last time I took my vehicle to a dealer for the 'free included oil change' I later found my oil cap resting peacfully on top of my battery.
That was in 1994 and I have never had non-warranty work done by a dealer ever since.
Android Auto settings ...disable Auto Launch and when you want AA just tap the app and connect the USB.
G Maps can be downloaded to the phone (use wifi ) so when you're using G Maps it's not using data. This is also helpful in that you can use G Maps when out of cell range provided you still...
I think if you disable Smartphone Projection Manager it should prevent Apple CarPlay and/or Android Auto from starting up.
There is also a USB port in the back seat that is only for charging.
Its strange that you experience a battle of Sat Navs. Mine will only allow one to run at a time...
