My 2020 JTR has heated mirrors.They are turned on, for 10min, by turning on the rear window defroster.
Is it possible that it's not a selectable option, in the configurator, because its already listed as an item in the standard features?
The Loo is great. Pretty quiet...such as it is with much of the country. I gather that you're familiar with the region? I know little of VI but have plans to join a new BC friend (in W. Van) for some great N. Pacific scuba diving. The timing of it is still very much up in the air.
I changed my Halogens for these, $286CAD, 9" aftermarket LEDs and they have been excellent.

First of all I will mention I am in Canada in case my USA friends are very familiar with this feature, it is not well known around here.
My Uconnect has a feature called Search & Go. This is not the same as Send & Go using the smartphone app.

There are rattle cans of etching primer that are specifically for plastics. You can sand but just to etch or slightly dull the surface. A scotch bright pad is adequate.
Are you colour matching? If not then use PDip. No sanding needed and if you don't like it, peel it off.
