I'm interested in how the dealership makes this right. At least it should hit their insurance and not yours, if they claim it rather than just fixing it. Make sure their repair of those scratches looks factory. I wouldn't settle for anything less.
I believe that is MOSTLY a myth. To my knowledge, most insurers will cover it, but it may come with some hefty copays/deductibles. I recall something to do with people in certain jobs having problems because their insurance wants to consider it a work related injury.
One of the problems with...
I thought this sounded a little crazy, so I looked it up. Deer kill around 120 people in the US per year. Last year there were 24,576 homicides in the US. My guess is that is on the low side considering I doubt that includes how many people killed friends, coworkers, and family members by...
I really like the Baja Boss, but mostly for a different reason than everyone else. I like them because they can be had in the rare but extremely desirable(to me) size of 255/85R17. If I could get an m/t tire in that size of one similar that would be ideal for me.
I don't think you will find too many who (at least openly admit) regret buying a diesel despite its odd flaws. That said, for what the option costs, you better be happy with it and the quirks that come with it.
Small caveat, Rubicon diesel(all diesels) get the 3.73s.

Did they go straight to "We will install a steering damper" or did they try to find a loose front end component first? It could be tires, but from what you describe, it sounds like something is likely loose.
Before jumping to a damper, I would have them check/tighten everything in the front...
This is what I went with as well. I don't need security, just a way to keep out the elements and I occasionally need to haul larger items like my motorcycles. The quality and price on the LoPro are pretty tough to beat in the roll-up category. No matter what you want to go with, contact the...
Hear hear! I believe Nascar just finally went to independent rear suspension recently. I wonder if there have been any noticeable handling improvements leading to faster lap times.
I love my solid axles and the way they articulate. I will be sad if the Wrangler platform ever goes to...
I wouldn't buy it for a bunch if reasons, but I don't have any hate for it. It's just not for me. As for the wheels, I wish I could fit 15s on mine. 17s are way too big for my taste. But I dont think there is anything preventing an HA owner from going to 17s if they so desired. Most of the...
Hard to say without knowing the MSRP. I paid less than that and have both options, but I didn't have automatic which saved me a lot. Add in a diesel and it could be a steal.
It would seem that dealers offering this are few and far between. There is Gupton in TN, then I believe there is one in PA, one in MD, and one in GA that are offering the below invoice pricing. I got 1% off for financing through them and 1% off for joining Tread Lightly which costs $100 and...
I suppose it comes down to time more than anything. Is new worth the 2-3 month wait that people seem to be averaging?
For comparison sake, I ordered a '21 Rubicon that was optioned the way I wanted. Window sticker was $61,950 and I paid about $54,500 before tax and title.
Now is a great time to order new from one of the dealers offering 5-7% below invoice. You get exactly what you want(within ordering limits), you pay way less than MSRP, and you get a brand new vehicle. The only real downsides are that you have to wait and you may have to travel a bit. I live...
Currently 2.49% on new or used.
Their rates are usually very competitive with conventional secured auto loans.

He says he already sold it, but this is a good point. One other option is to go with an unsecured auto loan such as those offered by Lightstream. It's an auto loan, but you get the title right away and there are no liens involved.
Indeed! I suppose it is just a part of life that needs adjusting to. I guess if it really helps with emissions it's not such a bad thing. It only bothers me occasionally now.
