I went with 5/5 since I rotate my spare into my tire rotation cycle. ;)
They transferred my TPS valve stems from my stock rims when I had the after market ones installed. I wish I'd read this thread earlier since it wasn't until a week ago that I found out that my spare didn't have a TPMS...
Your aux battery runs your start/stop system and is covered by your warranties so they shouldn't give you any hassle. I see the Jeep folks replied and I think that's your best bet. They, and the Uconnect people were a great help when I was having problems with my radio and backup camera.
Thank you for the reply Pepe. Yes I read your posts, they're a terrific help, thanks for the info, I was just wanting to clarify a couple of things to make sure I was reading it all correctly and had things right in my head before going forward. I'm a pretty seasoned shade tree mechanic but as...
Wow, perfect timing on this thread ?
I have after market tires and wheels and the TPMS have been working great, however . . .
I picked up a big ol' wood screw in my left rear a couple of days ago and decided to put on the spare until I can get it fixed, just in case. Yesterday I found that...
I have the Max Tow for several reasons and just figure it's a nice Gladiator upgrade package., but the way some people throw the title around, I thought that was appropriate. ;)
I finally decided on the decal to go with I decided to go with the Air Force roundel. My biggest problem with the one bought on-line was the fact that it was so big, half of it was on the door. I found a place locally that would make them for me that were sized better, they were much cheaper and...
Okay, last thought and I'm out of ideas. I know the aux battery controls the stop-start system and I did need to have that battery replaced for low voltage, maybe that might be an issue.
I had a similar issue, not sure if it was the fob or the Jeep. I was able to fix it by using the remote to lock and unlock the doors and then tried starting. This worked for me, it was only once and hasn't repeated but just throwing it out there in case it happens again.
I'm kind of in the same boat. I like the clearance of a stubby bumper but want some fender protection. I'm leaning toward this one from Quadratec, it's only $450 and it's 115 lbs.
Thanks, that's the direction I've decided to go (I'm an AF vet too). I found a shop locally that is making one slightly modified that will be cheaper. I'll post up a pic after the install.
These guys are pretty good. If they don't have what you want, they can usually make one for you:

I had this problem and got the message something like "Stop/Start not ready - Batter Charging"
If I had been driving for a few minutes I would expect it. However, when it would happen after driving around town for 2 hours, I decided to take it to the dealer. Sure enough, they said the...
Cool to see this on a Gator, their web site only shows it on a red JT.?
I've been trying to decide between that one or one that looks like an Air Force roundel:
Does anyone have any thoughts?
I always hate it when someone makes a thread looking for help and then they disappear. It makes people wonder if the problem got resolved or not. Well, in the interest of anyone that may come across this problem in the future.
Well, it looks like I've hopefully gotten my problem resolved...
