Well, here I am almost 2-months on and I just got my jeep home from the service department with a new radio. The word was that the radio wasn't an item FCA stocks so they had to order it from the manufacturer. I'm a patient guy and I'm not really making any statements one way or another but...

Just thought I'd update if anyone is interested. I took my rig to the dealer yesterday and they called me today saying that they would need to replace the "Radio Unit". I guess the problem was more than just a software glitch. I'll have to take it back when the new part arrives.

I hope its a simple fix like that. I just dropped it off at the dealer and will find out tomorrow.

I dropped off my Jeep this afternoon to have the hinge replaced. As I was stifling a chuckle, they apologized for the loaner car. :LOL:

I had my tires installed at the dealer just for this purpose. I have 17-inch wheels and 35-inch tires. They calibrated the spedo and even took it out for a test run to make sure everything was okay.

Really good question. They said the plan it go get the new hinge, paint it to match. They expect it to be a quick job and they can do it while I wait.

Went to my dealer's service department and they confirmed it is broken. Now starts the warranty process, I'm told I can expect a call Thursday.

I noticed the hinge on the driver's side of the tailgate has 2 cracks in it. Is it broken or is it supposed to look like this? I'm asking the question because there are 2 cracks and they look almost symmetrical. I wasn't able to get a picture of both cracks but there is one in the front and...
