Is my tailgate hinge broken?

Glad it's working out. Have them look at the other side too once they have it apart. The hinge cant be seen while its together due to the spring mechanism covering it.

I dropped off my Jeep this afternoon to have the hinge replaced.

As I was stifling a chuckle, they apologized for the loaner car.

I picked up my JT today and now my hinge looks like it should. They offered no thoughts on how it could have happened but I'm glad they got it fixed.

Now I know what the hinge is supposed to look like. It almost looks like its still cracked in the picture but that's just the lighting, its perfectly smooth.
