its funny when people act stingy over $50 on a 50k vehicle.
I work hard for my money. I have the hernia, arthritis, 3 herniated disk, two torn rotator cuffs and scars to prove it. Like I said. Ill keep my $50.

Grew up driving a 78 ford 3/4 ton. Remember having to get out to hook up trailer at least 4 or 5 times to get that ball lined up just perfect.

Even my muscle memory still has me turn my head when in reverse with cameras , most time I forget about.

Remember when we didn't have camers?? Wow, what did we do??
Smash into things.... if you didn't look in rearview mirror or if blocked, get out and make sure your rear is clear, side mirrors still have a big blind spot in the rear. At work backing accidents are supposedly down over 80% since backup cameras have been installed. I do say it is a game changer snow plowing with a 1 ton and salt/ sander spreader in the Park and Rides.

About the third time I had to get out and still had it wrong was when explicit language could be heard from me lol When the trailer was empty I’d just pick the shit up and move it to the ball by hand haha

No offense to the op, cuz truth be told I'm addicted to my back up camera as well, but this is the epitome of first world issues ??. I will be pulling a trailer with my motorcycles and keeping that tailgate up!

Well some ran over their kids in their driveway, backed into poles or other cars. You know the normal.
Always such the drama queen. How many kids do you think have not been backed over because of the federally mandated back up cameras? I myself would say that not so many kids where both backed over nor saved by the federal mandates for back up cameras.

Drama, yes especially on this subject. Notice the emphasis children in each of the articles? But hey... it’s probably fake news.

Edit: And maybe since your such an expert on the topic claiming that “not so many kids were backed over” you could explain to the parents of the 2600 kids per year who are run over that backup cameras won’t help.

oh FFS really? Where would this magical auto switching camera go? If the bed is down you’ve got wide open video to the rear IN YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR

actually people usually have the tailgate down when they have stuff in the bed, like a 4wheeler, or bikes, or a couch, or a 75” tv RESULTING IN REAR VIEW NOT BEING WIDE OPEN....
