I had posted earlier about my system not working and I actually had a repeat visit to the service department for the same issue. In Nov 2020 (10-months after I bought my rig) it stopped working and I took it in for warranty work. They replaced the aux battery and everything was fine for the...
On the menu at the top of the page, click on the link labeled "Forums". About half way down the page it the market area and the Member Marketplace is there.
I started with the classic Gladiator/Spartan helmet in the Army star on the sides (I still have one on the hood) but took them off in favor for the Air Force roundel. Besides being an ex AF guy, I think it looks better and like you said "more unique".
If you need something graphic, it might pay to head down this way. The guys there can do pretty much anything and in my case, undercut people on line. The nice things with getting stuff local is that I can help a small business, I don't pay shipping and thy install it.
Thanks for your input, I'll look into them. What I was mainly thinking of doing is to replace the entire turn signal/DRL/side marker assembly with something new. I've seen some pretty slick things with slit lights, sequential flashers, smoked lenses, etc. I'm just not sure what my options are...
Greeting lighting gurus, I'm in need of clarification/education on my options for upgrading my front turn signals and DRLs.
I have a 2020 Sport, it has the max tow but it may or may not be important for this discussion. I've replaced the standard bulbs with LEDs and am happy with them but I'm...
Well, I went ahead and sprang for the Diabolical box and figured I'd post my thoughts. Even though I bought it for myself on Father's day, I didn't have the free time to install it until this past weekend.
I really like it and it looks quite sturdy but the folks at Diabolical sure cut some...
I run with the door off as much as I can. I know there are lots of cheaper options but I went ahead and sprung for the one from Die-Tech. They're pretty expensive but I think they are worth every penny. They are brackets that hold the stock mirrors super steady and in the same position as...
Well, it looks like you made my decision for me. Your web site said "Coming Soon" all day Friday and Saturday. When I checked it out on Sunday, it finally showed the bins for sale but it said "Sold Out" on the solid-front bin I was interested in :swear:
Lol, I hope that means your business is...
I definitely want/need a good secure underseat storage option and I'm really liking this lockbox.
From what I can tell that besides the OEM box, we currently have 3 options on the market. For my simple mind, I wanted to break things down to figure the advantages/disadvantages of each (prices...
Lol, kind of.
It's like a driver's license; if you don't have one, there's nothing physically stopping you from driving. It's a government bureaucracy thing I'm sure.
It's my guess that only a small number of Jeepers with GMRS radios are licensed. Will the FCC radio police be going after...
No test required.
The reason for a license for GMRS and not FRS is the output of the radios. As mentioned earlier, any radio that transmits over 2 watts requires a license and that is the max power of FRS where GMRS can go up to 50 watts depending on the set.
I just spent my $70 and received my license but recommend people hold off if they can. I wish I would have know when I applied but the price is going down soon. Back in December, they revised things and said they will be chopping the license fee in half. It will be $35 for a 10-year license...
I took my rig for some serious 4-wheeling for the first time yesterday. Holy crap, thing did great but still getting used to the dimensions which leads me to the purpose of this thread.
Coming to the Gladiator from Wranglers of various sizes, I thought the longer wheel base would be my biggest...
