I took a ride with a local jeep club to Rush Offroad in eastern kentucky. We just wanted to show some folks the ropes and get their feet wet... er tires muddy... We had fun it was dusty as hell though. No problems except for some tight turns with the gladiator. We had YJ's, TJ's, JK's a JL and...
there is a rail that sits on top of the bed. It has 3 mounting spots for each pillar. Everything north of the bed rail part has to come off before you can do anything with the softopper.
They are solid and easy to install.
Tip: put painters tape on the truck bed because you will be laying underneath trying to get things lined up and I scratched the hell out of my truck lol
Also you will want to use washers to space then away from the body one of mine was really close. Tape the...
I hemmed and hawed about what RTT to get. I watched videos asked questions and weighed prices and all that. My conclusion is they are all about the same. I ended up getting, and only because it was already attached to the offroad trailer I was buying, a Tepui Kukenam (I think ruggedized...

Worked all day on getting this slide just right yesterday. It's acceptable but still needs a few tweaks for smoothness. The only things left is interior and exterior lights, water tank & plumbing, and a few odds and ends/cleanup. I'm still thinking if doing a thin carpet inside.
Anyhow here is...
mine does the same thing and my ford fiesta did it too. I think it might be something to do with the cruise control "ready-ing" itself maybe? Totally guessing.
Oh!
It worked.
I used the anderson pole output to a switch panel. Works fine. I'm going to run it to small panel and lengthen the wire a touch.
I also have a pull out for the fridge done and I'm working on one for my kitchen table setup. It will not let me upload a 5 second video of the switch...
I have a few that I am kicking around but Im just not having a "thats it!" moment with any of them.
