Not excusing the delays, but depending on the grade and configuration, steel has gone up as much as 10x. For their grades, it’s probably legitimately spike at least 400%.
I’ll add that I bought an upper decker early 21.! Lived close enough to just make an afternoon ride and get it installed...
I think this whole snow in the LED bucket is really overplayed. I live in the NE, and the Midwest before that, and have never had buildup to any degree that I felt the lights were impaired. Granted, I don’t follow other cars closely.
Not saying it won’t happen, but it hasn’t been an issue yet…
Looks good!
@AXISJTi have the pro6 on a rebel offroad full-size roof rack. The rack beat beat the lights by 4 months, and I was really starting to regret the decion. The noise was ungodly. After the light mounted, it all went away. Quieter than stock in rain. Serius is worthhless now, but I...
Bad ass design. Another option for roof rack is rebel off road. I have the full size currently, with gravity light bar. It’s an eye catcher and I still get full freedom panel and top removal functionality.
originallyenvisioned something like this, but cost savings & quality of a mass-produced...
you’d be shocked how quick surface rust can form. In the right humidity conditions, blasted metal can look like that within 12 hours. The important thing is that it won’t go much deeper than the surface, and it actually will prevent deeper rust penetration of the rust, similar to a scab.

If you happen to have some AMP powered running boards, that is the same switch they use, and in the recommended mounting position. The switch is used to cut power to the steps.
what he is saying (and is correct) is that you can get pulled over and ticketed, but they can’t use it as pretext for a full search and to interrogate you on the side of the road. More and more, they can’t even say “I spelled booze or marijuana” as pretext.
Nonetheless, there is a giant gap...
I actually wouldn't be surprised to see a V8 still. Its true that Stellantis is moving towards electric, but there are a lot of markets that can't fully transition to electric. Reasons include charger distribution and range limits. The US truck market (and offroad-capable vehicles) are even...
I have an in reach. Does all three, but not ideal for texting. Literally I only use it for a daily, “we are alive, going here” type message to parents.
tethering to an iPad works very well.
I prefer the small inreach. Battery lasts a few days and it doesn’t take up much room in a duffle

Something like this will allow you to retain the use of the hooks, even with the warn bar. In fact, I strongly endorse a "closed-loop" system anyway. Much safer and stronger. Factor 55 has great resources on the benefits.
Have you tried deflating your spare and putting it in the stock storage location? There is a list somewhere, but quite a few of the 37" tires appear to fit when deflated.
Not being a dick when I ask, but what is the point of the lift? The philosophy I have always followed is the lift is a means to allow bigger tires, while maintaining articulation. Tires are what give you the extra ground clearance, not the lift. Without changing the tire size, the axle is the...
No experience with either, but I suggest looking at rebel off roads racks. I have the full sized halo 2.0 with the gravity light bar and love it. I still have full use off the freedom panels and put a quick disconnect plug inside the cab, so I can still easily pull the top.
I got mine primarily...
I attended the very first one. It is definitely geared towards people who have never been on the trail before. It’s designed to give them confidence. I was fortunate enough to have some experience jeepers in my group. They break the groups up in the smaller groups of 4 to 6, based Off of rig...
