My Overland went from dream vehicle to fear of death vehicle after some SoCal highway driving. On my maiden Voyage from dealer to home, I had to take the grapevine, literally thought the truck was taking me, my man and our 15 year old son off the side of a mountain AFTER of course being smashed...
Driving a manual is all fun and games UNTIL you’re stuck in traffic (any day any time or should I say every day ALL the time) on the 405 OR the 5 or any bumper to bumper freeway OR WHEN some nimrod pulls up 1” behind you stopped at the light on La Cienega headed up to Sunset....
I used to pride...
I tried to make a deal with my local dealer (where I had purchased my Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 2 years ago. )
Unfortunately although I liked the salesman we met in person and he knew we were so close to buying but couldn’t get where I wanted him to be, he was respectful and attentive without...
Here’s a stupid question for you:
How do you come by the invoice pricing? None of the dealers near me were willing to give me the magic slip of paper that said what they paid (invoice) and yet most people on this forum, or with any real car buying knowledge always talk about it. I searched...

Is there a way to know when my JT was actually built?
To all of you purists, please don’t go all philosophical on me, I get it, for many of you it’s “built” when you go in the workshop bend some metal , rig some electronics and do it yourself, I’m honest I’m not that capable and it’s not what...
Oh and someone mentioned it earlier...I too hate the running boards...plan on something different but what I’m dreaming of doesn’t come in Gladiator size yet lol!
Definitely feeling the Overland hate in the forum lol!
but really who cares, most people on here have been great and everyone in real life stares at Clifford- so- who cares about a few noses in the air...
And other than the dangerously sloppy steering I LOVE my JT.
@jeep cares any help...
Thanks for answering. I’m nervous, but at this point it’s necessary my steering is downright dangerous. I dread driving my JT for anything other than a distance I could walk at this point.
Fairly certain you can’t purchase ANY Jeep for $4000, at least in CA, looking to buy a used for my son and the damn things won’t lose their value lol!!
